Halo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its here Halo 3, what else can I say but WOW. Sorry this thread is a day late but I just took a break. HALO 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:carrot: :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

For the next few months explosions and yelling will be a constant at our house with the new release of Halo 3.:oops: The hubby is SO excited.

I got it yesterday. Hands down, one of the best games I've ever played ever.

I haven't even begun to get into the level-editing and movie maker features of the game either.

I got though about half of the Campaign on legendary last night...hopefully I'll finish it up tonight, definitely want to see how the story ends.

I'm way more impressed with 3 than 2... I returned 2 after a week cause I didnt think it matched up to all the hype and 1 was still way better... Played 3 last night for about 3 hrs and I'll prolly crack out again tonight. Never got into the Xbox live too much bc theres like 12 yr olds who play that stuff for like 16hrs straight and just whoop your a$$ every time!

Ah... its a great game. I picked it up right at midnight on monday/tuesday!

halo3 has way way way more potential than 2.... halo 2 sucked horribly! nothing will even compare to how simply amazing halo1 was and still is tho, so much more strategy and shooting skill is needed to become some of the best players. the only thing i hope they make for halo 3 that would make it awesome is joining from peoples personally made games with descriptions, and hosting your own games.. like xbox connect style for halo1 if anyone on here ever played that. wrote you guys a paragraph haha

You are not alone and an article I read stated that developers listened to a lot of that kind of feedback when they started on Halo 3. All in all, Halo 3 feels more like and improvement on Halo 1 rather than a progression from Halo 2. I think of lot of people are going to be very happy with that.

its way more like halo 1 for sure... which i love.. but i hate the fact that bungi doesnt know how to make the right settings on maps online and that they got rid of the pistol... the pistol was the most balanced gun ever! it was only 3 shots to kill but you had to have skill in order the 3 shot. 4 shot with battle rifle is easy.. they also need to fix the fact that now the rocket is a more dominating weapon then even halo 1 rocket. another reason to bring back the pistol

Halo 2 was a big flop because about 2 years into production they scrapped the whole project and started fresh. They actually made Halo 2 in about a years time, which I think is pretty good. Here is the article pretty much explaining the history of the 3 games.

Finished Halo 3 on legendary already. Great game and the last level is some of the most fun I have ever had playing video games. :rockon:

hubby's been hogging lo3 i only got a little game play in so far but tonight i get it allll to my self!!!!!!!!!!:D

Pretty awesome for sure! Online play was laggy as hell last night, so it wasn't much fun; also way too few ranked playlists right now. And i'm still getting used to the button lay-out after playing Halo2 for so long. But it has potential - hopefully Bungie will release some key updates in the not too far future.

got our copy on Wed. and played for a while, then Thursday night was dedicated to watching My Name is Earl and The Office. This weekend will be all Halo3 all the time! I have been waiting for this for so long... H2 was so disappointing. I usually play by myself or co-op with my husband - who is way better than me. I really want to try playing in xbox live after I get through the game. May have to ask some of you for tips with that.

I am 100% jealous. :[ haha I need to buy a 360 specificly for playing this game.
