Ahhh....the leap from one to three snakes...

...It won't make you stop wanting more. In fact you'll get your new snakies, and be happy and completely satisfied for about...ohhh....a week. Then you start planning out what you're getting next!!!:D

Good luck with all of those, and of course we demand pictures whenever you get them!!

How about a nice little DH Ghost kid, Mitch?

    Maybe something like this:

That is a sweet snake. What is that exactly? I know it's a RTB of some sort but what's the DH.

This little man is a Double Heterozygous for Ghost boa... he carries the visual hypomelanistic gene, as well as the non-visible anerytheristic gene. When hypo and anery are combined, they create ghosts.

    Here's a nice example of a ghost:

So, if you breed two DH Ghosts together---with their hypo and anery genes-you hopefully get some ghosts! (Plus more kids like the one above :D )

    Congrats!

I myself made a small jump lately too. We had 2 male Boas, then we went out and picked up the following in one purchase.

    - 07 male Spider BP
    - Breeder age male Pastel
    - 2 breeder age female normals.
    - Hovabator
    - BP rack (thrown in for free. :D)

We are pumped because we can dive right into breeding this fall! :D Next on the list is a Cinnamon female and a pinstripe male.

I like BPs... and plan on having a couple in the collection as pets. But, ever since I adopted Kinkers, my heart has been with the boa kids :D

Thanks! :D I was lucky enough to meet a local breeder that is being shipped up north for work, and needs to downsize his collection. He had a few other gems, but there is only so much money to go around ya know?

What i passed up from him ... barely.

    - 07 Mojave male (pic below)

    - breeder spider male
    - breeder albino male (pic below)

    - this one, though not a BP, I want so bad!!!! A GTP, that is tame enough to handle without a hook. I have never seen a Chondro that has been open to being handled without leaving a few teeth marks. I want that damn snake! lol

Not only did i get a great deal, such as a free rack thrown in, but he has answered hours worth of questions for me, and even offered to probe the snakes i already have to confirm their sex. Definitely good people, and we were lucky to meet them. :)
