Pewter X Pastel Holdbacks

Here is the Sterling male and the 2 Pewter females that I have decided to holdback this year... I cannot wait to get him to breeding size!

You are correct... Just like the KillerBee, but with a Cinnamon instead of a Spider... I want a KillerBee bad!!!!! The only male left on my 2007 wish list!!!!!!

what were you using?

Its actually a black glossy posterboard that can be picked up at Micheals Arts and Crafts... I just lean it against the wall like a skate ramp and it reflects light nicely for decent photos!

I always thought that Sterling Pastel has yellow background color with gray color on their bands...I've been wrong for a wrong time. At first I saw your pic and I thought it's a Silver Streak. Now I got my facts straight.

You actually are kinda right... From how I understand it, Markus-Jayne produced some crazy looking Super Pastel and assumed that it was a CinnamonXPastel and named it the Sterling.... Then a few others produced Pewters and they realized that is not what they have...
Now I have people telling me that a CinnamonXPastel is called a Sterling and a Black PastelXPastel is a Silver Streak... Pretty weird since it is based off a mistake, but I have just gone with it... I personally like the name Silver Streak much better! :sabduel:

Drinks Saturday night at the Hilton? We plan on riding to the show Saturday and hangin most the day and then coming back that evening...
As for the combos....
Cinnamon/Pastel = Pewter
Black Pastel/Pastel = Black Pewter
Cinnamon/Super Pastel = Sterling
Black Pastel/Super Pastel = Silver Streak
Super Cinnamon/Pastel = Silver Bullet
Super Black Pastel/Pastel = Silver Bullet
Super Cinnamon/Super Pastel = *has not been done yet*
Super Black Pastel/Super Pastel = *has not been done yet*
This is to the best of my knowledge... It is possible that the last two have been done this year and are on the downlow, but well have to wait and see... It also could be possible that the Super Cinnamon/Pastel will have a different name then the Silver Bullet, since I dont know if that combo has been done yet.

Greg did it in 2005 and he calls them Silver Bullets.
