I lost the rest of Lucille's clutch. pics.

Some of you may remember tht Lucille had a clutch of 7 and during early incubation I lost 3 of the 7 eggs.

Well...I got a call while I was in Daytona from Jeff telling me that he checked on the eggs and they looked kinda mouldy.

So I got home and checked them and they did not look good so I talked with a few people and decided to go ahead and continue incubating them just in case...

Over this past weekend I cut the eggs since they were at 60 days and they were all bad.

I took pics again...for educational purposes only.

This really sucks. :(

I almost couldn't take these pics. It was alot harder to cut these than the others...i dunno maybe cause I had just a lil hope..that they might could have made it.

I gotta tell you Jo...I do feel like crap about it.

I just really wanted them. :(

But I m going to do what Chris and everybody else has said and just focus on next season now.

I feel for you; I am sorry you had to go through this. I went through a whole-clutch loss last year, and this year also with Godiva's eggs.. it is not easy.. wishing you luck for 2007-8..
