Where does an 8ft, 37 lb Boa go?
Anywhere she wants apparently!
Cleaning day is always an adventure with Tequila. As soon as she out of the cage she heads for the smallest place she can find. She is extremely strong and when she decides she is going somewhere, its on!
Today she decided to cram herself down the inside of a CB70 rack with the tub still in there: (Excuse the mess on the floor. I hadn't gotten to sweeping and mopping yet and the Uromastyx makes a mess with his bird seed and greens.)

And here she is after I used all my strength to yank out the CB70 tub. This is a situation where she will stay there until she is ready to go back into her cage. There is no pulling her out of there when she uses her muscles!

Nice :rofl: Since you can't muscle her out, try using some of that charm and sweet talk her out. ;)

If I have to rely on charm, she might be there a long time! :D
She will have to come out before feeding starts tonight. I am not going to bring a tub full of rats in there with her loose :)

Good luck getting her out. Hopefully you've got more stamina than she does.

hmm...I seem to have memories of a beast of mine cramming herself into a rack, in a similar manner....

There is a difference between being scared of a snake and taunting a large Boa with live rats.

Ahhh... Reasons why I'll never own a snake that grows longer than 6.5'... :) Good luck coaxing her out though :)
