That is the Angel of Death. ;)

It is something new from NERD. Questions as to what all morphs it took to make it will not be answered. :colbert:

The name may be in jest, but it could easily stick.... what inspired the name anyway? :)

Knowing Kev's love for metal ,

Its the name of a Slayer Song. (not sure if that was the inspiration or not)

So If I'm reading this correctly you just made your own kind of snake???

Like this snake morph has never been born before??

    WOW I feel a little confused:confused:

Yeah, I realized right after I typed this that this was not Thingie. You didn't bring Thingie for me to play with, so no pics from me. ;)

Yes. By selective breeding, Kevin, the owner of NERD, managed to produce a snake that combines existing morphs in interesting ways to produce a result that is different than anything that has come before. This is not the first time he has wowed us all with that. ;)

Kara's one half of NERD (New England Reptile Distributors), Kevin's the other half. They come out with new designer morphs practically every year! The snake in the photos at the start of the thread is a designer morph that was born in their facility for the first time EVER. Exciting, huh?

It's a mixture of multiple morphs, although which we aren't being told (even though I offered to meet the asking price more than a few times while in Daytona). Its like how you can create a dreamsicle by stacking the recessive (iirc) albino, pinstripe and pied morphs through selective breeding.

The Dreamsicle is the combo of a Lavender Albino and Pied. ;)

DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING!!! + the guys at our shop tend to have a twisted sense of humor - i.e. the Soul Sucker, etc. Snakes around here are frequently named things that end up being inside jokes. :D

One of my favorite Slayer songs BTW ... and one that Kev needs to do a cover of ... it would ROCK!

Make it happen Rapunzel McSmiley and it's shoulder rubs (like the one I gave you in Daytona last year) at every show for the next 5 years!!! :carrot:

Reign in Blood is awesome too! ... but Angel of Death was the first song I ever learned to play on the drums many moons ago (badly I might add, but still a lot of fun) ... will always be a memorable favorite.
