What a way to get at your girlfriend during a row

Some idiot from my homeland got into a row with his girlfriend and decided the best course of action to really get at her would be to bite the head off her royal python and then throw it at her. Obviously this incident was fuelled by booze but there's something quite barbaric about it when you start biting the head off defenceless animals. You would like to think the moron would receive a fitting punishment but he'll probably get a one hundred pound fine and a slap on the wrists

Isn't that horrible? I read about that on another forum today and it turned my stomach. Poor snake..
I wonder if he would've done the same thing if she had owned a horse, or an elephant.. poor defenseless snake.

Yes Jen, quite likely he would have or attempted to do so. As I said in the other thread, it isn't about it being a snake as much as it is about domestic violence and terrorizing his partner. A very sad situation all around, even more sad because it's not uncommon.
