Miracle Pewter

I first want to say thanks to advice Phil Buscher gave me a few years ago that has proven to yeild endless results!!!!!!
About a month ago I started to notice a bad smell coming from a certain clutch and decided that I needed to get the bad egg out from the center of the group... I slowly started peeling it off, almost tearing it off the other eggs... The last egg I needed to pull off suddenly ripped open... It is about 28 days in and I have a dime size hole spilling some yolk. I almost threw the egg away, but instead put it in its own container with damp moss covering the hole... I counted it off as dead, but kept it anyway... I noticed that the egg was not going bad so I kept up some hope.
Yesterday, I had a clutch hatching from Pewter X Normal... I more or less forgot about the other egg and was stoked as hell to get 0.2 Pewters, 1.1 Cinnamon, 1.0 Pastel and 0.1 Normal from that clutch... My friend then is looking in my incubator and tells me I have another Pewter which my reply was "your full of :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:"! I then look in the solo container and there is this badass little guy! Not only did I end-up with three Pewters in 7 eggs, this little miracle Pewter hatched out! Hes a badass! :cool:

He's flat out gorgeous Tom...congrats on the little miracle! What a lovely clutch that is with 3 different morphs in it. Any chance of a picture of the whole clutch together. I'm fascinated when you breeders post these multiple morph clutches...it's something the rest of us only get to dream about LOL.

Thanks everyone!!!! I appreciate the positive comments on the little guy! I was stoked and when I read them to my friend who couldnt stand leaving here without this little one he is even more stoked!

I will attach the pic of the females in this clutch... The photo of the males was overexposed and the little "Miracle" is cozied up in his new home anyway! I was wrong about having a normal when I really had 1.2 Pewters, 1.2 Cinnamons, and 1.0 Pastel...
As for multiple morphs in one clutch that best I have had was this year with Pewter X Pastel... 1.0 Sterling Pastel, 0.3 Pewters, 1.0 Super Pastel, 0.2 Pastels, and 1.0 Normal.... Was a very exciting clutch! I'll post photos as soon as they shed!

Thanks so much Tom. I'm just always so amazed at these multiple morph clutches. Blows me away what selective breeding can accomplish. Congrats again on this clutch and your other efforts this year. :)

Awesome looking pewter...congrats!!! Pewters are one of my upcoming projects. I picked up a great looking cinny girl from Pete Kahl in Daytona...I can't wait :)
