Waiting for my flexwatt and helix is killing me!

It's been like 10 days since I ordered my stuff off beanfarm, and today I had a little shred of hope, I saw the mail truck parked on the street and I saw the person delivering mail on foot, and I got excited and figured she was gonna go back to the truck after and deliver the packages...I waited for like 45 minutes watching that truck, and I was almost crapping my pants when I saw her get in and start the truck, finally, after all this waiting!!! She then proceed to drive down the street, past my house, and out of sight. I've been in such a bad mood ever since then...

I'm sure some of you have waited for longer, and for more important things (a live herp for example) but I just had to rant about this somewhere...sorry :oops:

Same here.. Ive been waiting about a week. And we live about 2 hours away from each other.. lol waterloo

I remember someone posting something about when it crosses the border customs can hold onto it for as long as they want... :( what exactly are you waiting for?

I'm waiting for a herpstat and some flexwatt and some bedding. Canadian customs can hold it if they want, chances are they won't. I'm starting to be a little disappointed with bean farm.. no tracking number or anything :(

Have you confirmed when it was shipped from beanfarm?

When I ordered stuff from America the customs this end applied charges so the delivery company held it till I paid the import charges - they just forgot to tell me this so I only found out when I started shouting at the delivery company.

They told me it was shipped the 15th. I hope I don't have to pay the delivery company.. I will not be a happy camper, how much did it cost you doc?

I think it cost me another $70 dollars on a $269.95 order ( I have the receipt for the mats but not for the import charges sitting in front of me. :P )

(I would just like to assure you I am not a real doctor so you can stop sending me pics of... whatever that is.:eek: :P :8: )

so did you get it yet. A lot of people ordered from beanfarm including myself and couldnt be happier with their service...took 2-3days to deliver to CA.

I love my Helix! Simple to use and keeps the temp right on...Let us know any updates.!

They ship by ups. And I HATE HATE ups when I get/send stuff from canada. Takes ages because of customs. Usps is the best way for shipping to canada. Next time ask the seller if they can ship usps. You'll thank me and them for it.

My original estimate in the OP was a little off, as of today its been 16 days since I've ordered. She told me she was going to the post office that day so I'm assuming she shipped it that day...is it time to call and ask what the hell is going on? OH CRAP...they're closed from the 27th(tomorrow) to the 3rd...this is not good.

If they billed you then they shipped it. I ordered stuff around the same time, but my best guess is that it's all customs. Even UPS has service level agreements they need to make for shipping, customs on the otherhand can hold anything they want for as long as they want without any good reason.

They said they can't give tracking numbers because it's an international delivery, which I think is total BS.

When you ordered from beanfarm did you use the online check out? Everytime if tried to order flexwatt from their it fails to go through because their shopping cart checkout module doesn't seem to work for Canada. I've emailed them about 3 weeks ago and never got a response so you've gotten farther than i have with them. I'm guessing I'm going to have to call them or go some where else.

Yes it is broken. However if you call in they will order everything through for you, also I believe if you email your number and what you'd like he'll give you a call back.

Sweet thanks for the info I'm going to try that next if http://www.niagarareptiles.com/ doesn't work out, I've heard that they can flexwatt and their closer to home too.
