We Got a New Crestie - DU Death!
We got a new crestie this weekend from Ms. Emily and I am totally in love - and you know what that means! Tons of pictures!

Thank you Emily, we couldn't be happier with her!

    Presenting - Buttercup!

Hmmm...I think I'll check out the outside of my new home!

I can do it - no I do not need help! Why? Are you calling me fat???

Let me check out the inside here and see if I'd like you to set up my royal palace in here or not...

    Seems roomy

    I think it will do!

OK - you may move my furniture in now!

I do need to get some more greenery in there, but she's pretty darn laid back as it is!

    I adore her!

Very Nice Robin...Every time I see a picture it makes me want to get one (though I don't know where to begin). She looks really comfy in her new home.

    Congrats.:D

Thanks Sean! I gave her a cricket this evening and I had the door open and Karl tells me - "you know you don't move that fast - close that up!" and I said "hell, SHE doesn't move that fast! LOL"

She's getting her "beauty" rest right now! :D

    Sweet! Cool enclosure too.

Is this crestie a bit obese? Never really see them that hefty. Sorta cute though. :)

aaaw she looks so happy! :) as for her being obese--that made me laugh! she's definitely a big girl--64 grams last time i weighed her but she isn't overweight or fat. big boned and fairly large for a crested, but not obese. some cresteds just get big! :D

Yay Robin!! So is this your first crestie? I can't remember if you have any others?

She is gorgeous though, and a big one. I don't think she looks over weight, shes very well proportioned just big lol.

Emily, I may have to snoop through your collection :D

No, we picked up two from Daytona last year, two tail-less males, and they both have since died. After talking with Emily, she felt they were both likely sick when I got them, as she remembered the table where we purchased them and wasn't impressed with them. We also got a baby from Adam and Kelly in January.

After seeing Buttercup, I now know what a healthy adult should look like! Thanks again Emily, I'm completely smitten with this girl!
