    Some New Pics of Buddy
Buddy who belongs to our youngest child, Mikey, is just continuing to blow us away. For those of you that don't know about this special snake and the very special man who gave him to our son, here's Buddy's story....

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=41994

Buddy is either a 66% or 100% het Axanthic and just continues to get brighter and more yellow with age. I swear a pastel snuck in somewhere LOL. Adam, I hope you get a chance to view this thread when you get back from Daytona and enjoy with us how beautifully Buddy is coming along. He continues to be a wonderful eater and will be put with one of our females, Kyna, this coming breeding season.

Here's Buddy in all his glory....(please excuse the huge turd in the back corner, Buddy's a bit of a handful sometimes and I wanted a quick pic of him before wrangling him out to clean his home...well at least he's regular LOL)....

Look at that nice light yellow face stripe....

Here's Kyna, Buddy's future mate....at some point we'll be getting a nice 100$ het Axanthic female to raise up and prove out Buddy one way or the other but for now Buddy can spend "quality time" this year with lovely Kyna....

This is a photo of Kyna back in Jan 06 but it's the best to show off her lovely lemony yellow side color.....

what an absolutely fantastic thread ( linked one ) It has put a smile on my face an warmed a Scots heart on a cool August night. Things like this give us all hope , its easier to see the little things overlooked . Kudos to all here. I knew this place was special.

and the snakes are stunning ( as is that smile with the T-shirt )

Thanks! We think there's something very special about this young male. He just gets better with age and it's a real pleasure to slide open his tub and see him everyday. We think his yellow and Kyna's yellow/green coloring should produce some lovely babies this year.

Lovely looking snakes Jo I hope they get jiggy with it :hump: and produce some stunners. Try some african drum music and some candles, or possibly some damiana or jasmine with some ylang ylang thrown in :D

Hmmm.....I just figured I'd pile a bunch of them in the back of the family sedan, add in a case of cheap wine and park them in the back row at the local drive-in move show. That's how a lot of my graduating class got...errrr...."in the family way" so maybe it will work for snakes. :D
