Pics of baby Nero! ****Major DUW****

Akright y'all, it's been a very long week (well, a night short of a week, but hey I couldn't take it! lol). Earlier today Nero had his first photoshoot, took a few hours to calm down and slammed his first meal so hard I was wondering whether the impact could have given the little mouse a concussion! After all the times he has, and continues to strike at me, I shouldn't have been too surprised right? Sorry no pics of the feeding, wanted it as stress free as possible.

Lol Mike it's funny, I'm already planning, I have to wait a year at the minimum because my next blood is GOING to be either a female black (wait for more Hartwig stock) or saving those pennies for a 2008 latte borneo gal. Lol.

Haha right there with you bro. Probably saving for a Ultra Breit Female. Or just a marble Female and try my hand at breeding these guys. If only my parents would understand that I NEED just one more snake. :rockon: Can't wait to have my own place.

I really have a place in me that likes the sumatrans...but your black is amazing. And yes...bloods hit their meals HARD! They'll move your tongs a good bit, when they strike f/t !

Yea, where my BCI and ball just strike and wrap around one coil or so around the rat/mouse, the blood did some sort of crazy alligator death roll for about 10 seconds with it! :O

handsome guy...awww so cute...mines explodes. good watching, but if you feed live. it kinda sucks because with that roll and constricting..its takes a bit to see where the preys mouth is at.
Luckily Im feeding prekilled(slowly switching her to f/t)

thats a wee cracker , and very nice pics as well. Bloods and Short tails as youngsters do well on Frozen Thawed as in general they are all eager feeders, if you are not confident or experienced feeding live I would suggest this method 1st to try.

@snakey68: I have no problem feeding live, as I have yet to encounter a problem with any of my snakes as of yet.
