Awww thank you Robin! I'm still sipping my first morning cup of coffee so it hasn't hit me yet that I'm another year older. Kate and Nicole treated me to a day at the salon yesterday (with a bag of hair products to take home) and I have a new and VERY short hair do. I didn't measure but I'm guessing I lost about 18 inches of hair. Boy does it feel odd but I love it!

I too want to say Happy Birthday to one of our best member's! I hope you have a great day.

Thanks everyone! Oh I don't know Emily, I'm not big on having my picture taken at the best of times and I'm still getting used to going from butt length hair to this very short cut. It was fun though playing with all these new hair products Kate and Nicole bought me. My usual daily hair routine is just to brush it out and haul the heavy mass of it back in a ponytail so all this fussing with hair goop is sort of new and fun! Oh and got it dyed a lovely rich brown too (darn grey hairs...but they are all gone now!) :D

I swear I should have had them weigh all that hair. I feel rather light headed today! LOL

Well I'll be brave and post a pic of my new hair do since I'm really pleased with it. It's been about 16 years since I've had hair any shorter than my shoulders and it's usually most of the way down to my butt. So be gentle folks....this was a MAJOR bravery thing for me. I think I would have run out of the hair salon but Kate swore she'd tackle me at the door and heck that daughter of mine used to play defense on her hockey team!

Thanks girls! I did enjoy going to the zoo this afternoon and with the hair goop stuff and a bit of spray my hair looked nice all afternoon. I'm used to the hassle of long hair and having the wind play hell with it so that's definitely a huge plus. Oh and my hair didn't fall forward and land - PLOP - in the water fountain! :carrot:

Thanks Judy I'm so glad it's going over well. Mike's getting used to it slowly. I ummmm didn't ummmmm mention to my husband that I was getting all my hair cut off so the poor man about died of shock when I got home LOL. :eek:
