you want fun--i'll give you fun. i just peeled a little piece of stuck shed off of one of the snakes, checked the incubating gecko eggs, separated some mealworm larvae from the worm box, chased an escaped cricket up the wall and gave a rat some antibiotics. tomorrow night's agenda is even more exciting: feed the f/t rat eaters, feed crickets to the geckos and clean some poop. now THAT is my idea of a good time. :D

Emily, I dont know of a more exciting night at all! I find myself checking on Nero and his crazy self staring at me every couple of minutes... I swear there are times when he, a snake barely longer than a foot, gives me the creeps when I look at him in a dimly lit room! I keep thinking he's start the strike fest up again!

How about all of us that have to work on the overnight shift.

With what little I sleep, I am on here or in my snake room at all hours of the day and/or night!

You only have two snake species, I'm guessing you need a morelia in your life! They're such cool animals, especially if you get a non bitey one, and they stay at a nice manageable size.

My friend and I are building a huge cage for him for when he gets older.

Yep, I have a Lampropeltis getula nagrita and a Pituophis catenifer sayi or, since I hate spelling all that stuff out. an MBK and a bullsnake. :D
I think 2 snakes will probably be all the snakes I'll have (that the hubby will let me have). I want a spider ball so bad I can taste it but he says no. :(
Which for right now is fine as I have a lot to do and to take care of as it is. Maybe someday. But then again, I REALLY want a beardie. :D
