    Update on little Spartan not eating
    Well guys I did it
    I got Spartan to eat his first meal :)

    I absolutely love my snake, he is everything to me, I know for sure this isn't my last Ball Python.

    Murdoc does not take food like that.
    Then again I feed strictly live, one hopper every 5-7 days.
    I don't think I've ever seen a snake just swallow prey like that.
    Maybe cause its f/t?

    Strikes, kills(suffocates), starts on the head and works its way down to the tail.
    Its not F/T, its live.

    I'm obviously missing something but what makes you think his snake didn't strike and constrict the prey before beggining to eat? Was it in another thread or am I just being dense as usual?:)

    Im assuming that cuz of the pics hes thinking the snake didn't. But by the end thats how mine looks as well, and I feed live.

    Haha, no guys he constricted his food, i took pictures as he was swallowing it, although it was f/t he didn't constrict very long.. I'm juts happy that my little guy ate.

    yay!!!! i'm glad he finally ate for you!!! My bp always rises up like that when he gets to the back legs/tail part. He'll be eating tonight, i hope your little guy keeps up the good work for you!!! Your lucky, tiki won't even look at f/t... he gets live... anyways, congrats on your little guys first meal!!!

    It took him a while to attack it but he took it,
    I would rather him have live though, but if he can take both f/t and live, I guess you could say thats a bonus for me :carrot:
