A few clutches (*** Dialup Warning ***)

I just got home from work (glamorus life of a snake breeder right?) and wanted to share a couple of cool clutches that hatched out today ... I'm hatching at least a clutch a day lately, and as much as I'd love to post them all I'm sure ya'll would get sick of me so I figured I'd just stick to the ones that make me smile more than usual. ;)

4 hypos out of 6 eggs from a het to hypo breeding ... 3.1 hypos and 1.1 het hypos (i got 3 hypo girls in an earlier clutch, so it all works out)

2.2 Lesser Platinums out of 6 eggs ... I didn't produce a whole lot of lessers this year that weren't also het for another trait or crossed with another co-dom, but these regular ole lessers are some of the nicest I've ever hatched!

3.1 Pastels 100% Het Pied and 1.1 100% Het Pieds ... After seeing the pastel pieds last year I was so excited for this clutch this season. I was hoping for one more pastel het pied girl, but I ain't complainin at all!!! :D

As always, thank you for letting me share! You guys are an inspiration and I'm humbled every day by the cool stuff everyone is hatching ... from normals, to pastels, to the "high end" stuff ... i'm jealous of all of them!!!! I don't think I could ever have enough ball pythons.

I really like the looks of those lessers and the pastel - pied combo is to die for. I missed on a albino - pied project this year. I guess she (the pied) knew better than me and just wasn't ready to go.

Nice work Adam...those Pastel Het. Piebald are awesome looking. The Pied gene had some nice influence on the Pastels. I thought I had read on your forum that you were trying to produce Pastel Het. Clown? How did that go, if I remembered correctly?

Almost all of my combos are hatching while I'm away at Daytona ... same thing happened last year ... talk about a kick in the balls (pythons) ... I actually have one peeking at me through the egg right now ... gotta say, one of the sweetest I've ever seen. ;) :D :sweeet:

They're "the hottness" hypos! :P

I do things a little different than other breeders Raul ... I don't believe in labeling my hypos/ghosts by "color type" if I don't have to ... The hypo lines I work with are all compatible (within themselves and with other "lines" out there) and all produce a wide variety of mixed "color types" ... I prefer that people I work with select a hypo/ghost from me because they are aboslutely in love with the way it looks and the "color type" makes no difference to them ... that's the way it should be in my most humble opinion.

I can't believe how different the pastels came out ... one is actually a ringer too ... Every year I always get a high ratio of ringers out of my high white pied male ... worked for me with all of the pied combos this season as well.

I'm still patiently waiting on the results of my Clown x Pastel breedings ... I'm always months behind the rest of the kids on the playground ... but I like to think that I'm still having just as much fun if not more. ;) :sweeet:
