Kara from nerd has some record keeping templates...I thought she was going to email them to me but I never got them or lost them already.

I'm not too sure I like the new ones, not sure about the black trim around the screen. But yeah, Macs rule!

Well, I'm currently developing a husbandy database that is based on Java, so its platform independant. As soon as I'm done I'll post it for people that aren't able to run Degei or the like. It'll be free, and open source so once its done I'll post it and you can have a whirl if its something you like.

For now Excel spreadsheets will work better then fine most likely.

Cool, once its done, as long as it is ok with the site admins I'll post a link to download.

There is still a bit of back-end work to be done, as well as some front-end look and feel things to be done, but its coming along.

Here are a few example screenshots, the white space on the left is for sample pictures and I didn't take a screenshot of the opening screen where you will be able to manage your databases:

Here is a shot of the Feed List:

Once the back-end is complete and I start working on the front-end you'll be able to add/delete/edit each of the lists, plus I'm going to try and add some graphical charts showing growth:feed ratios and thigns like that.

I think everybody should switch to mac. It is so much more intuitive and logical than windows. I love how everything works on windows. But I also love how everything makes sense in windows. Being an engineer I have to run windows and mac but using both gives me the best of both worlds.

Shirken, what sort of database is this program using?

Can't wait to try it out...if you need someone to host it for downloading I'd be glad to help :)

Right now for simplicity I'm just using CSV files, I haven't decided whether to just stay with CSV or go to either XML or SQLite. I'm sorta leaning towards XML though.

Thanks for the offer :) Not sure yet whether I'll need it, I've been thinking about getting a domain for a while, but we'll see.
