No Killer but still a clutch to be proud of...
Well I really really wanted to see a killer bee, but there is always next year.... I'm not complaining in the least bit, my best clutch of the year thus far....

Nice clutch Neil. I'm sure you'll hit 2 or 3 of them next year, if not more. It looks like you might have hit the turning point this year, and your luck will be all good now. Hope so. I like those Bees, very clean.

Awesome clutch. Congrats.

Out of 6 eggs you got 5 morphs representing three distinct morph groups! That's a fantastic clutch! I about sell my good left kidney for that clutch LOL. Congrats!!!
(you wouldn't be in need of a good left kidney would you dear???? :P )

No more griping, very happy today.... Especially after talking with a customer of mine that had a heater in his room go out early into breeding season and he lost half his collection from over heating. He ended up with only a few clutches. A HUGE clutch hatched today, a pewter to a cinny and he hit a SILVER BULLET only to find it kinked terribly badly......

That is a sweet clutch!
So what were the parents? Bumble x Pastel?

Oh that's sad.:(
Disasters on that scale are a horrible thing to happen to anyone. I hope you mean they just didn't breed rather than they died. :( :(
I'm sorry for the poor kinked silver bullet too - are they succeptible to kinking genetically?
It's not a morph I've looked at so I am unaware on any genetic problems they might have.

Unfortunetly most did die :(
A silver bullet being a pastel super cinny is predisposed to the nose issues of the super cinnies and blacks but the kinking I believe is just a fluke.
I had a normal from a bee to normal clutch this year make it full term, I cut the egg at day 61 when all of his clutch mates were already out of the egg. I left him in there and two days later at day 63 I pulled him out. He was still alive but terrible kinked, at least 3 dozen kinks and a disformed face. His bottom jaw was actually fused to his belly. He was still alive :( I had to put him down....
Every now and then they kink up like that and I'm just not sure why.
