Upcoming changes in my life...

I wanted to share some exciting new changes with my friends at bp.net. On the Glass Reptiles side, I am full steam ahead and getting ready for an exciting 07-08 breeding season! With Daytona coming up, it only gets me more pumped to come home and start planning pairings! Keep an eye out for the Glass Reptiles merch coming towards the end of the year!

Unfortunately breeding snakes doesn't pay the bills quite yet and in fact it generates many bills of its own!

As far as my real job, I have just given my 2 weeks notice to the consulting firm I was working for. I am going out on my own to start a full service network integration company. I'll have some more details to share in the next few weeks as things get going (I am taking a week's vacation and then I have a couple weeks of tying up loose ends). Its exciting to finally go out there and get paid for the work you do without having to give a large percentage of it to some guy sitting in an office. I'm psyched! :carrot:

Congrats Jamie, nearly 6 years now with no boss for me.... The last 3.5 years have been nothing but reptiles. Life, both personally and financially have dramatically improved for me over the last 5 years (first year was a bit ruff). But I don't think that i could go back to a real job, I work long hard hours and yet enjoy the freedom of being able to do it when and how I want to.

Thanks to working for myself I'm now able to stay at home with my son and we don't have to send him to day care. I get to enjoy each and every moment of his day (except at night when I graciously let my wife tend to him :) )
