    Recessive Question?
What are the odds of producing the homozygous form from legit het to het breeding?

If you have 4 eggs...1 of the 4 will be homozygous (visible)

    25% Homozygous
    50% Het
    25% Normal

each egg has a 1 in 4 chance to be visual.... you have to look at it with each egg, not as a whole clutch. you will not know what is het and what is normal, so all the non visuals will be 66% het.

if you breed and get 4 eggs, there is a strong probability but not certainty that you will get those percents.

The thing to remember here is that these are all statistical percentages.

By setting up and using a Punnet square the outcomes of a het x het breeding would be 25% homo recessive, 50% het for the mutation, and 25% normals.
Of course, the normals and hets would be indistinguishable so they would be termed 66% hets. Because, in a hypothetical 4 egg clutch, you would have one homo recessive and three normal babies of which two of these would be het for the mutation. 2 of 3, hence 66% chance.

As has been stated, there are no definites. Here are two examples of the odds not working in some clutches that I have produced.
    1) Last year I got 7 eggs from an Albino bred to a Het Albino. 1 egg went bad, leaving six. The odds say that I would get 3 Albinos and 3 Hets. Well, we got 5.0 Het Albinos, and 1 Albino (severly deformed and died half way out of the egg)

    2) This year I bred a Het Caramel to a Het Caramel (this is the breeding that you were asking about) We got 5 eggs. That computes to 1.25 Caramels. Well we got 2.2 Caramels and 0.1 Poss. Het. Caramels.

So, one year I beat the odds, and one year I lost to the odds. It's all in the roll of the dice.

That's awesome. That's right up there with the het pied x poss het producing piebalds.

I agree with Tim . . . no guarantees. Those ball python gods can be real finicky. I was very fortunate with my albino - het albino pairing this year. Out of 6 eggs, we produced 1.4 high contrast albinos and .1 het.
