    Something For Sarah.
Since you think I don't love you any more here is a link to a great winery that I get hundreds of dollars a year in wine from. I did the tours and tasting and walked out with 4 cases my first trip. If you live in VA and haven't been to any of the winery's I suggest you make a weekend of it some great places in that state :D:D:D

That is because you think in english and then translate to french, common mistake. The key, do not translate, think in the language.

Awww, Ed, that's so sweet of you! :D

That winery looks awesome. I really want to try that Reserve Merlot, which is sold out of course! Also the Blushing Dog, I think it was. And I Want to eat in the restaurant, too, already picked out my menu. Too bad I'm not in Virginia :(

My favorite winery in Texas doesn't ship, and is 100 miles from me. It's worth the drive, though, and we might be going this weekend.

Deborah the next best thing to European wine is California wine. When I lived in N.Y. I only drank French and Italian wine. When I moved to Cali I was pleasantly surprised at some of the great wines the have here. They say northen / mid cali has similar weather and soil. Nothing like a good bottle of wine with a great meal! :D

We've got some excellent vintages here in Oregon too! I looooooooooved going to the Wine and Seafood Festival in Newport every February. What a fantastic way to get great, fresh seafood and try new varieties of wine at only .50 & .75 a taste, or $1.50 a glass!!!!! < good stuff, Maynard! *smack, smack* >:D

Unfortunately, it's boring going alone, so I haven't been for last few years....But maybe again in the spring. :sunny:

I'll try the links of the other wineries here and check into their shipping charges and policies. :)
