Re: who are your "dealers" lol
If I was looking for another ball python, I would hit up Adam at 8ball first and foremost. After that I'd look around at the other people who produce animals who are members of this site.
But for a blood python I'd call Kara from NERD, or Jeff Hartwig (nice blacks).

Funny how some sell pastels for like 250.00 and some sell them for 800.00.

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
Since you're in Florida, you might look up Gary Kettring. He's a very small time breeder, but his snakes are really nice. I have two of his girls, one is a very reduced pattern and the other is a 50% poss het pied. Both are gorgeous and were well represented.
His email is gkettring@comcast.net
And definitely give Brian and Lori at BHB an email, their snakes are HOT!

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
Right now I've got..
400+ gram normal female from Joe Compel
100+ gram normal male from NARC
I'm getting an 80+ gram male pastel from Glass Reptiles and two 500+ gram normal females from John Spada next week.

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
I havent ordered from adam yet, but I like that hes on the forum, giving advice to any one that needs it, even if they didnt buy the snake from him. He also has some wicked cool snakes.
Right now, ive been buying from Ralph Davis, and soon from BHB reptiles.

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
I have only bought from three different breeders so far.....
*Greg Graziani
*Dave and Collette Sutherland (Snake Keeper)
*Chris Simone
However that doesn't mean they will be the last... :D

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
For bp's I deal w/ Adam at 8ballpythons ( simply the best in my book )
If I couldn't get what I need from Adam then I would make a beeline for NERD
( tops in the business ).
Supplies I use Reptile Basics, Inc
For racks/cages I will be using from now on Herpenclosures.
There are many great people to do business with these are just my favs/go to people.:)

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
sounds like you have a good collection started and all the names so far in this thread have been excellent options. This time of year there should be pretty good availability for things as well.
If i'm looking to buy something new I usually call up the "big boys" first, most of whom have already been named here. Or if its something that isn't too difficult to find I'll wait to go to a snake show that way I can purchase from a smaller breeder and have the chance to meet them, see the quality of their animals and hopefully form a positive relationship.
Thats just how i do it.

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
8 out of 11 have been from Ron Crawford at www.RCReptiles.com including my Albino,Mojave,Het Pied, Het albinos, and 3 normal girls ( 05's). corn was from local pet store, and pastel was a buy from a guy who got it from Jon Courtney at www.coldbloodedaddiction.com, the last girl was a present from a friend that was a petco buy but shes a 1000 gram 06 girl :). many balls to come and many breeders to buy from

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
I have purchased snakes from Jon Courtney at ColdBloodedAddiction.com. His snakes and snake rooms are super clean and has been a big help. I have been completely satisfied and will continue to do business with him. :D

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
this form is very helpful for beginners... So good Job!!!
I personally recommend every single one of the breeders mentioned and that also includes Ron Crawford and Adam at 8ball who have excellent and informative sites. Oh! And I absolutely love Ralph Davis!!!

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
I have bought many animals from Brian and Lori at BHB, Sean and Celia at Exotics by Nature, Cory at Bradford Cole Herptoculture, Oz at OzzyBoids, and a couple animals from some smaller breeders. I would highly recommend any of the ones I just named, and most of the ones that have been mentioned in this post.

Jamie Glass. I bought my female pastel and male spider from him last December, and he threw in a nice light normal female who is my most aggressive feeder. He's a good guy from my experience and what I've read on the BOI.

Vaughn was just kidding.
You must have dealt with a different Jamie Glass. I didn't sell you any snakes last year. But definitely keep me in mind for the future! :D

Re: who are your "dealers" lol
I have bought from..
Alex Hue; out of Michigan. He sold me an awesome cbb '03 female that just laid a nice clutch of eggs this year. i got her.. think it was 2004? Awesome stand-up guy with a lot of great references. He's not a huge mega-breeder, but he has grown since then. He has a lot of healthy CH youngsters that are reasonably priced.
The SnakeKeeper (Dan and Colette Sutherland.) I bought my '05 Graziani pastel from them last year; he has successfully bred two of my females, whose eggs are incubating now. Top-notch people they are; and they did not kill me on price. Reasonable without being bring-the-market-down cheap.
Ed Clark. He is out of new England and breeds but also wholesales BPs. I bought my Spider from him this year and have had no problems.
I have an '06 female that I bought off a forum who was cbb. from Wildfire Reptiles also. She is healthy and happy.
Also! Cue (Cueball on this forum.) I got my AWEsome '06 female from him as a gift when last year's eggs went bad for us here. She was packed and shipped in as high-quality conditions or better than you'd expect a $5k snake to be done up in, though she was free. Awesome guy Cue is; top notch!
My other snakes were from obscure local sources :)
