She didn't go that far up. I don't let her go out of my arms reach. But when she decides she doesn't want to some down, there's a small struggle. But nothing big.

very good looking snake! How big do you think she'll get? With the giants it seems like you'd sort of lose your pet eventually because it will be too big to really handle.

Over 16' for sure. I'm hoping around 18'-20'.

A good number of people give their large snakes up due to size. Such as pet stores selling burms and retics to people who want to buy it and the pet store gives out no info. So the people freak on how big they get and surrender them to animal shelters, or release them.

Well if somebody is really ready to deal with it then I think its cool. I was reading on burms last night and there was tons of stuff on how many people buy them as casual pets - trying to be cool.

    Be careful though!

By the way, why do you get neg reps for posting pics of your retic?

    Hi,

They may have come from that thread yes - I would hesitate to say it was the fact you were feeding your snake that caused them however.

Most of them said something like "you're going to kill your snake feeding it something like that", "that meal is way too big", "you're an idiot" etc.
