Taking care of my imaginary BP is getting boring. Someone should make me feel better by telling me I am being responsible by not jumping on the first one I see. :D
If you tell me that, you can also tell me that e-mails/inquiries will be returned eventually by these breeders. I have a lot of interests and never any response. :(

no response from breeders??? hmmmmm..you must be barking up the wrong trees. A reputable breeder will respond with enthusiasm.

Not sure what I'm looking for other that something relatively inexpensive. 0.1 Pastel, i guess? Anyway..
2 people have responded to me. 1 turned out to have a couple BPs that were a little bigger than what I was looking for.. the other quickly stopped responding to me when he found out I live on an Air Force base. Thank you sir! :salute:

There are many great breeders who have good selection and will take very good care of you. You can shoot me a PM if you want more specific info. And if you do, lemme know what AFB you live on. My hubby's in the AF, too. ;)

I understand the bit about an airforce base putting them off. My son was told it was fine to have his collection, then notified to get rid of all within 30 days when his commanding officer changed. The only reason he has any left is because they stay with me. Good luck finding the right one. Check with everyone higher up before acquiring it,

yea, the AF part may be a problem... as far as I know, most if not all base/posts won't allow exotics. I live off post, so I can keep my snake with me. I plan on PCSing to Ft Meade where I've already checked and it is forbidden to have exotics on post. I'll be living off post again.

judging from ur location Im assuming Lackland? I just got out of basic february of 06, so I don't think I'd want to go back to that city anytime soon, haha.

LOL....yes...Lackland, this time. Although our home is near Randolph because that's where we were stationed last time we lived out here. I'm sure I wouldn't want to come back very soon after Basic either...but San Antone is a really nice city.
As for restrictions on AFB's....that's definitely something that needs to be considered...but it will vary from base to base and I think it's up to the military member to find out...not up to the seller to decide for him.

What if the breeder was concerned with their animal not being delivered and then sitting in a box for too long.. ? :(

Well, that would be a legitmate concern. But so far as I know from my own years of living on base, the delivery trucks like FedEx and UPS just drive right onto the base and go directly about their deliveries like any other neighborhood. The worst that might happen would be a quick inspection at the gate, but they're not going through packages...just sniffing for bombs. :P
