I had to put up with some hissing for these shots but he only sounds off for a brief moment when I first pick him up then he sits comfortably in my arms.

He just likes to let everyone know "Hey, I'm a Blood Python, get the hell outta my way!" :cool:

Sorry it took me a while to get the pics up Laooda but I hope you enjoy them. One of these days I'll have to figure out how to take better ones.

I find those long fluorescent lights works best for lighting and a tripod.

very nice pics there Earl, the more pics you take the better you will get but they are fine and show the colours very well. Taking pics in direct light as well is also good if you get the right settings sorted out. Most people are using digital these days so plenty of options to mess around with.

It's the only name that suits him. He isn't quick to bite but everytime I open his cage, no matter where he is, he will come out of his cave and face you and he will stare right at ya no matter how long you hold him. No crawling around or trying to hide in the couch cushions, just a "what do you want sucka?" expression in his eyes. :cool:

The Duke fits him perfectly.
