    Most underated mutations
What mutation would you guys consider most underated and why?

I'd have to say Hypos and Yellow Bellies

Hypos because they clean up all other projects and Yellow Bellies are still virtualy untapped in crossing project!

I am a big hypo fan. But the drop in pastel and spider prices make me think they are the most under rated. Their are so many amazing designer morphs that include both of them. Hypos included.

i think yellow bellies myself. breed two yellow bellies and you get a snake that is so unique. it sticks out like an albino sticks out in a collection.

a yellow belly from a reputable breeder (so i know positively it is a yb), and a spider are going to be the first morphs i plan on dipping into.

axantics because their combos arent that impressive but they still and beauties. still waiting to see the true ghost

lesser/butter/mojaves because i think everyone got their hopes smashed when they found out they all make white snakes w/ blues eyes and not that many combos have been produced

I'd say yellow belly, mainly cause I have no idea what is so special about them other then they have a yellow belly. If they were a big deal, then I would have a clue as to why people think they are so great. :D

So I would say yellow belly since there is hardly any information out there about them. Speaking of which, what is so great about em?

I'm defiantly going to say Mojave... to me, they are one of the most beautiful to look at, and I see/hear fuss about all these different morphs... and when I see them... they aren't 1/2 as pretty *to me* as the Mo. That's just my opinion on the visual aspect! lol I just think their sharp, crisp contrast is awesome. :D

The reason I say pastels are underrated, is because there reffered to as the best beginner(sp) morph, and are not very expencive, yet they make so many great morphs, and turn great animals into greater ones!!

Axanthics, the crosses should be coming soon. I think they will all be as good looking as the Axanthic Bees, Axanthic Woma and Axanthic Spotnose.

Very true, but i dont think pastel's are underrated at all... Everyone always has good things to say about them, to tell you the truth i think they are very popular.

Underrated? The humble Normal. None of this would be feasable without them I guess. Yet they are available at corner pet stores for $20. They are the first "morph" that most people start with, and are really responsible for fueling newbies in this hobby and sparking interest in morphs. hats off to Normals!
And Spiders. What have people done to the prices of these awesome critters? A nice reduced Spider kicks the butt of most morphs in my opinion. Supply and demand, I guess.

I would have to say hypo. The things that are created with hpyos are still top of the line.

    Re: Most underated mutations
Most people want lighter and brighter colored snakes, when they combine two morphs, so I am going to say the Axanthic may be a bit underrated, but is probably about where it should be price wise, based on the brown out potential of most Axanthics, when they get older.

Mojaves, make Leucistics, which EVERYONE would have killed to make only 3 years ago, so yes, Mojaves, for the price, are a very good pick up, and I think underpriced.

Spiders, I love them, and you can pick them up for around $400. How can you go wrong, sheeeeeet, I am going to replace all my normal females with Pastel and Spider females! The Spider can be crossed with anything, and it turns out nice-except the Albino, I hate the Albino Spider but I am probably the only one in the world who does...sorry!

YellowBellies, yup, undervalued, they make the Ivory, which is a pretty cool, and different white snake, and have you seen the Pastel Ivory?

Hypos, not sure they are underrated, or under priced, probably about where they should be....One of my favorite morphs, LOVE the Hypos!

SO, I would say Fire. Yup, not much to look at which is why the price is so cheap now. But, have you seen the Fire Pastel? Stunning! The Fire is basically a Co dom Hypo, kind of...so Fire would be my vote for most underrated, undervalued Ball morph.

I reserve the right to completely change my answer at anytime! Even 5 min from now.

I agree. The mojave is just a hot looking ball python. Being affordable only makes it better for those looking to get one.

I don't think we've seen all the combos of many snakes that I like. Underrated in my opinion, inlcudes the mojave, calico, caramel albino, butter, and many more. That's why this is always so exciting for me . . . wait a few minutes and a new morph will be created!

Enchis. Those who view them as "just another Pastel line" are in for an awakening. :D

Vanillas & Sables too. The heterozygous forms are subtle, but the supers are fantastic & the combos...well, wait & see!!!! ;)
