How do you digitally sign your personal photographs?
I have been trawling through the web here trying to find out what software enables you to sign your personal photographs so as they cannot be copied. I'm starting to get the hang of this photography caper and capturing some nice stills so i'd like to be able to secure them.

Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.

in my experience, the most you can do is put a watermark on them to declare them as yours. There's really no way to prevent someone from taking them...if they want it bad enough, they'll find a way to snatch it. Chances are, if you have a picture with a watermark on it, such as your logo or your name, the chances are it won't get stolen..unless it's by an idiot.

    Take Adam's pics for example...

don't think anyone is claiming his pictures any time soon..you'd be crazy :)

I like how Kara does it, where you have to actually search out the watermark. But yeah, I had no idea how to put that on, but I guess you just dl the software. Good to know!

whoops...re-read the question and figured all you need is a watermark...not 'how to keep someone from taking it'....anyway, the software mentioned above looks like it will do the job. I use Photoshop...but unless you're willing to fork over 700+ for a peice of software...freeware will certainly do the job :D

Here is what I do. I take the crappiest pics possible. Some would say its because I have no clue how to take pictures or light the subject but I like to say its so people won't steal my pics. :)
