Work Hard ... Play Harder! (*** DIALUP WARNING ***)

With as swamped as I've been lately, I've been trying to balance out the daily grind with enjoying my family and my summer ... I have a ton of clutch pictures and hatchling pictures on the camera that I still need to go though, but this past weekend we went to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. and had a great time ... so I thought I post these pics first! :D ;) :sweeet:

It was a million degree outside here in the mid-atlantic and the humidity was nuts, but even with the heat the day was amazing! ... The staff at the National Zoo knows how to get r done and take care of their guests!!!!

Very Nice Adam, looks like a great time after the show this weekend I'm going to take my wife and son out as well for a few days away to just enjoy eachother.

That's what's so cool about going to the Zoo in the summer...lil kids all over the place havin' a good time :gj:

That little dude was an elephant nosed shrew ... they just had a litter of babies not too long ago and they were some of the cutest little things I've ever gotten my hands on! ... Definitely a new favorite critter of ours.

The lion/big cat exhibit at the National Zoo RAWKS!! ... The tigers were awesome too, but all of those pics came out blurry ... next time. ;)

Actually I kept taking my shirt off cause it was sooo darn hot ... Kelly kept making me put it back on cause I was "embarassing her" by being a little "too redneck" (like there is such a thing) ... women .... sheesh. :P :rofl:

I have a couple ... some blurry shots through the glass of the giant fish that I didn't like ... by the time we got upstairs my second battery was dead which bit big time cause we hung out and fed a monkey for like 20 minutes. Next time for sure!

Ditto that! ... It was hot and they all wanted in ... LOL ... we kept hoping that they'd get in their ponds to cool down but nada ... doesn't matter, I could have watched them sit at the entrance to the indoor area all day!
