Congrats Wolfy. You can't beat having your first morph hatchling be a Spider. And, that head looks killer. I can't wait to see them all the way out.

Here's baby #2 where you can SEE... it looks very much to me like a 2nd spider!

The First baby pulled his head back in! His egg is the one to the far right in this picture. Silly baby!

Re: My first hatchling of the season
Is this what seems like a THIRD spider?? Do I have a Homozygous spider in Sam? Or maybe just the odds gods smilin on me?

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...d/IMG_0276.jpg

The last one sort of looks spidery, but I can't get a pic or a real good look even yet. I might cut the egg a little further open later today if he's not emerging.
3 of 4 spiders? Maybe 4 of 4? Any opinions? Am I really seeing things and they are normals?

Thanks! I LOVE the Nature's Spirit Incubator. Like I said ALMOST idiot-proof. I did manage to fool it this season, but I'm an exceptionally talanted idiot! Not plugging it in will make it not work. LOL.
    Look what it gave me!!

Congrats Wolfy. I'd say that those are all spiders, and the Gods are smiling. I think they are very happy right now, and it is time for everyone to do some hatching before they get awnry again.

Three are OUT. The fourth isn't moving... and isn't out of his egg... I'm worried about him.

Here's the three that are out!

Good looking Spiders Wolfy. Have you tried gently poking the other baby to see if it will move. Sometimes one always wants to make you wait. One of my recent Axanthic hatchlings waited a good 12 hours after everyone else was out before emerging.

It's FOUR of four spiders... just that one that doesn't want to move. I'm hoping he's just being stubborn.
    But he's definitely a spider.
I LOVE these guys! No sexing yet. I want to wait a while, let them settle in.

#4 is dead. Full term, perfect in looks. He had some bubbles at his nostrils.. I don't know. I'm disappointed to lose a full term baby.
The other three are doing well though, gorgeous, and I'll post pictures once they shed(I'll sex then too)

Re: My first hatchling of the season
Sorry to hear that Wolfy. Did you pull it out of the egg? Did it appear to have any major problems? If the answer to those questions is no, then don't blame yourself, some of them just aren't destined. And just remember that you have three gorgeous babies that need alot of attention.

Re: My first hatchling of the season
I only removed him AFTER determining that he was indeed dead. I forgot to make that perfectly clear.

I know. I've just had a rough few days, and this was just horrid. But I'm looking at the new babies curled up in their homes(not TOO often, I have to ONLY see them twice a day so I won't simply bug the poor little things constantly).
    Thanks!

Wow; I just read your thread.. congrats on those three. Awesome odds!
I am sorry about the lost one. Sounds like it is definately not your fault; nature has plans that we can't fathom sometimes, I guess.
    Beautiful Spiders. :)

I feel bad for your loss...any idea on how the 4th died? Can bps drown in their own fluids?
