How are you getting to Daytona?

Just wondering how everyone is getting there. I was aiming to fly but I can't do that now it doesn't look like. How many of you guys are driving a long way to get there?

Flying. I can get there in 12 hours flying w/ layovers vs driving which would take 25 hours.

Flying...about 3 hour flight for me.

We're driving - about 8 hours with stops for gas and walking the dog from Atlanta if I remember correctly.

Susan and I are driving.

I figure it is typicaly a 11-12 hour (or so) drive...

we should get there in about 14 hours with all my restroom breaks!

we are leaving Thursday evening to get there by Friday morning!

We're leaving Wednesday after work and getting there in the wee hours of Thursday morning and staying until Monday! Can't wait!

Flying! I'll be there on Monday for the week! Can't wait!

Zegway!!! and a backpack. :D all I need is clean underwear and my mastercard. :D

12 hours? Sounds like a whole lotta layovers!
I am flying into Jacksonville(5 hours) to visit family and then driving to Daytona from there (1.5 hours) on Friday.

Taking a plane and it will take about 4.5 hours from DFW. Getting in on Friday and leaving on Monday :)

i'm driving down friday afternoon--it's about 3.5 hours from savannah. :)

I changed my mind. I am no longer taking a Gondola. I will be arriving on a mini horse.

Im fling to orlando which is like 2 hours and some change, then driving from orlando to daytona, they sat its an hour drive. so god willing i'll be there friday afternoon..:D

They didn't lie. Orlando Airport is about 45 mins-1 hour from Daytona.

I looked into flying into orlando as well...but it was actually cheaper to fly right into Daytona....

thanks buddy. maybe you can ride the mini horse there, and we can race to daytona...:D

It woulda been cheaper to just fly into Daytona Airport ;) That's what I'm doing and it was only $290-something.

southwest doen't fly to daytona:O ...

I still would've had one layover flying into orlando...and then I figured by the time I pay for a cab ride to Daytona...might as well fly into Daytona for cheaper!

This will be only the second time I've flown...so I figured...lets prolong it. lmao!

I get to see the beautiful airports in Minneapolis and Atlanta. I could've flown out of Minneapolis with just one stop in Atlanta...but the fees to leave your car there were ridiculous!
