Squeezed so hard got a nose bleed?
I fed my male his first rat, a med one. As I dropped the rat into the tub he caught the sucker in mid fall and coiled around it faster then he usually does, and was squeezing so hard blood started to come out the rats nose, to the point where I got a paper towel to wipe it off cause it was running...Anyone seen this happen before?

i had my guy pop an eye out about a month ago. i thought the rat had bit him cuz of the amount of blood coming from the coil but when i got a look at it it was just the rats eye hanging from its head... OUCH! :eek:

Yes I have seen blood but only once. At first I thought it was my snake!
I also see the other things mentioned previously. I've also noticed that the smaller the prey, the quicker its demise. I'm not squeemish but I don't really like it when it goes on too long.
The wildest thing - and I didn't see it but there is no other explanation because of how fast it all happened - was the instant kill. If he can master it, he'll be ready for the martial arts movies!
