so adam was kind enough to send me a pic of my some of snakes today... my het pieds wouldn't sit for him but... my pastels and spider did.

so without further delay... here's comet, crack and little dude!!!

adam tells me we should be good to go with CITES very soon! i look at it this way... every day that passes brings me one day closer to holding them...

and man, you can tell they are getting to be chunky little monkeys :D

oh it's 6 snakes in all folks... my daughter is getting one as well ;)

well tim... patience just has to happen sometimes. after all, what would 'not being patient' get me? nothing but an ulcer - not like we can push a boulder uphill when the US gov't is involved! we started talking with adam in october... picked our snakes in november... started CITES in december... and will actually handle them for the first time in... july hopefully - i would think august at the latest. so ya, it's been a long haul for sure. i've told adam a couple of times... it really helps us a LOT to know he has such a great reputation on this site... otherwise we'd be feeling like we just threw away a whole lotta cash in a snake scam. but, because of his reputation we know we'll get them... eventually :P

jamie... i can't wait to see them IRL... i'm simply salivating over it to be honest especially when i see them in a photo... those snakes are HOTTNESS!!!

Ya, I've heard that his customer service is just amazing (and can see it here), and for around the same price that adam quoted me (including shipping) a guy here was going to sell me a pair of 66% hets for albino. I really didn't want to take the chance with them being 66% for being my first het pair, and plus I don't really know if he has quality animals, but with Adam I know that every animal he produces is top quality, and seems to be perfect health wise. :sunny:

i can't think of a single reason to take 66% over 100% for the same price... that's just silliness :P

Lol! Agreed there! I mean, if I already had a nice sized collection and albino's were going to be one of my main projects, then a 66% wouldn't hurt to have to try and prove out with an albino that I already had, or at least make hets, but since I don't have that luxury....yet :P

that's why i chose 100% hets from adam... cause i want to get some piebalds within the next 5 years... not waiting 10 years (or whatever the snake gods decide is my "further patience" due)
