    poor puppy
I went for a ride on my little sisters motor scooter today and i was on this long empty road with woods on both sides, and this little guy came out of the woods from one side and crossed the street to the other side.

He is very very skinny. I can see every bone in his body, when i was bathing him, he felt so fragile, and he has little wounds all over his body. Pitiful little guy. He looks worse than than the pics show, but the flash kills the shadows in between the ribs and other areas.

He is a very sweet pup, listens and already knows how to sit on command.

Not sure if we are going to keep him yet, we have to see how he interacts with our other animals.

Oh dear lord, you can see every bit of his poor backbone! There's just no weight on the poor thing at all. You're a sweetheart to take him in, poor beastie.

Oh my gosh... That poor guy :( I hope as soon as you can, you'll swing him by the vet, explain the situation, and get him checked out--he might have some internal parasites that'll make putting on weight harder...and I'm sure the vet will have some advice on how to help the poor boy put on weight safely.

 Looks like abandoned pets are finding you right and left--first a kitten, now this boy! I hope he meshes well with your other pets--he looks like a sweetie.

Oh man, that poor little guy! I swear i want to get a huge fuzzy blanket and just go through the computer screen and wrap him up! But I suppose you're in Florida and it is not as chilly as it is here today..
Looks like a reallly cute doggie; I bet that his tail is wagging even though he is so hungry :) I am glad that you found him, and not some truck's bumper.

I said the same thing to my mom. Seeing him and my putbull next to each other is weird, makes her look very obese lol.

    Oh i will.
I want to get him to the vet asap.
Im curious to know what his age is, sometimes he seems like a puppy, them other times he seems a little aged.
This morning when i got him, his mouth was really white, now its dark pink.
He has drank a ton of water, and eaten a good bit off food.

I made an appointment to get him checked and his man hood taken away.

wow...thats bad. Doesn't look like he would have lasted a whole lot longer. Good luck and can't wait to see and hear what he is like in the future.

Awwww, such a cute little red nosed pit. I hope he fits in with your other animals or, if not, that you find a forever home for him. He's already had a lifetime of hard knocks.

Today he got a new collar, leash and a big ole cow leg bone.
He is already looking better, definatly feeling better, yesterday he would hardly move, today he is acting like a puppy, jumping around, playing fetch and stuff.
He gets along with everyone but our old cocker spaniel, he is a grumpy gus and when the pup wants to play he starts growling and jumps him.
I think it will work out though.

Well that's good news.. and I'm not surprised about the cocker. They're a cranky bunch (mine is a regular sourpuss)

gah - I hate animal abuse....good karma to you for taking him in.

I wonder if the vet should hold off on neutering him until he's a bit healthier...

Love, water and food...it's a miraclous cure.
