    Licorice sticks!
My daughter is very excited about this project. She has "adopted" this one from me. Next year she will have her own corn project but this year it is these.

This girl laid about 9 eggs for me last year, but this year wooo-hooo!

Oh what a lovely snake! Hard to believe she could lay all those eggs! Your daughter must be terribly proud of her first step into the world of snake breeding (and I bet your very proud of her too). Best wishes on the clutch. :)

See, now I'm not into colubrids, but I really like that one! Too bad I can't own one legally in GA. :(

Why thank you Dr. Del! The white-sided trait is simple recessive.

You cannot own any non-venomous snake that is indigenous to GA (that's king snakes, rat snakes, corn snakes). You can however, own venomous snakes indigenous to GA. Go figure.

You can, just dont get caught. I mean what are they gonna do, come in and say oooh thats an illegal snake you got there. not.... There is to many types of snakes out there for them to be able to identify one. You just gotta go to ala. or another neighboring state to the vet. :)

I'd rather follow the laws of my state, not break them and hurt snake keeping for other GA herpers by possibly making the laws even more restrictive - but that's just me!

And since I prefer boids, the law doesn't really affect me anyway.

when people do that, it's was kills the hobby. even though they are stupid laws in the eyes of herp owners, they are laws for a reason. when people ignore the laws, it gives "snake haters" more reason to ban snakes as pets.

I hope that you are, because if you aren't and even suggest or pretend that you are in person, you can be charged with impersonating law enforcement, which is a felony. I know someone that happened to, just a word of caution.

Licorice sticks! 06-25-2007 09:02 PM Encouraging something that is unlawful is wrong. Laws whether you think they are right or wrong should be respected.

Whoever left this bad rep thanks alot, but if you knew how to read you would have seen that i said further down, that i'm in law enforcement. Im a freakin Deputy Sheriff for gods sake, if i dont follow the law then who should? I see now theres no since of humor around here!!!!!!!
