    Those are some old pictures...

I know he posted pictures of it grown up, and I think breeding. He said he bred it, and then pretty much dropped of the face of the earth as far as I've heard. Don't think there ever was an update after that.

    interesting looking snake!

I dont think it would be a very good trait to breed out though. I wonder if it has trouble getting around seeing as it has no ventral scales...

Scales protect the snake so unless you really pamper a snake like that, it is bound to have problems...

Rumor has it that this snake passed away and since a lot of people have tried to get updates from the owner over the past year and he never replies, the rumor may be true.

Im not freaked out or scared. I feel so sorry for it. Poor little guy. Probably a mutation experiment. People who do mutations to ball pythons should burn in hell. I feel so sorry for the mutated Bps out there, Like the cross between the borneo and ball python. disgusting.

I wanna say it's Norwegian, or some Scandanavian nation. Either way, that must feel wierd when it's stroking itself within your fingers. Kinda like rubbing a kids face covered in zits.

I know, it's Danish. Dk stands for Denmark. I know some Swedish, and those Scandinavian languages are very similar.

But back to the topic, that ball looks so cute! I'd want to know what that skin feels like.. Too bad if it didn't survive.

That is not a "mutated"(whatever that means) Ball Python. Justin imported that animal and it's siblings straight from Africa.

Just for some side info, there are other reptiles that have scaleless variations that have been found to be genetic.

    Re: Derma
For me, and this is just a personal thing, it's one thing to breed for a certain look or color/pattern morph...that's basically just a different paint job on the same snake. It's quite another to breed for, what to me, is a genetic deformity. Missing heat pits, missing scales, no scutes *shudder*. It has a right to live, of course, but to try on purpose to replicate this....well I just can't see that as being a good thing.
