Re: My First Giant (well not yet) DUW
Oh.. he's so CUTE! I forgot how small they start out. Really pretty burm.
Re: My First Giant (well not yet) DUW
Oh wow, that's a really huge giant! You sure you can just handle it with one hand like that? JK :P
My friend has an albino burmese baby, and baby giants are just so cute, that I kind of wish they stayed that small. Their patterns are more brilliant as babies, too.
Re: My First Giant (well not yet) DUW
my mind is having trouble connecting that little baby with the 12 footer my friends have! lol. very nice looking 'giant!'
Re: My First Giant (well not yet) DUW
Now all you have to do is feed him twice and he will be 12ft! LOL! They grow very fast! Before you know it you are using a shovel to clean the cage, two people to handle the him, building or buying an enclosure to house him, and throwing reptile parties with all his friends and serving rabbit cakes and rat appetizers! LOL! All joking aside they are great beautiful animals to care for, just always remember what they are and the respect they deserve and never drop your guard when handling, always have a plan of action in place in case of emergency and what steps to take. Not trying to scare anyone but better to have well thought out plans of "what if's" instead of "what do I do now!"

Thank you. We are doing pretty well. He just ate for me today.
When I started working with some of the bigger ones before I got him it just made me want one more. :sunny:
Re: My First Giant (well not yet) DUW
love those little/big suckers...Wished they only stayed 5' or smaller. I love the patterns. Too big for me for right now.
