Find the Morph!!

Just a little game I thought I'd throw out there for you guys....there's no "winning" or "losing".....just a fun way to show the incredible variety of "normal" that we find in our beloved Ball Pythons.

Out of these ten pictures, only one of them is a proven genetic morph. The rest are "normals." None of these pictures have been manipulated to change the natural appearance of the snake. And all of these pictures are used with the full knowledge and permission of their owners. :P

Some of you Eagle-Eyes may recognize a snake or two (or more) but please don't spoil the fun by posting absolute facts about the animals seen here. Guesses are fine, though. :D

four gets my vote. i originally thought pastel with number 7 but the flash changed my view of it. 5 also resembles an adult something...but i am not saying

I guessed 7, but I have a feeling #4 there is gonna turn out to be the morph. I bet it's a piebald or something like that; the way it's cropped just really makes me want to change my vote. >.<

I should have picked a more difficult morph to spot! :P As of this viewing of the poll, we have 85 correct votes and 53 incorrect. You guys are pretty morph savvy! :D

#7 is, as has already been hinted at or outright said from the very first response....a ghost (aka hypo). (EDIT - Ok...Cue DID hint, but it got edited out somewhere along the way. :P )

Everything else is "normal." Gotta LOVE ball pythons!!! :sunny:

Awww Emily! What a sweet face she has! :)

thanks! she is SO shy--supposedly she was cb, but i think she really may be ltc. that second photo of her is not something i see often (her head out in the open while i'm holding her). i've not encountered another bp that is as jerky and panicky as she is when handled and she has some scarring on her back in a few places. i tried for a while to handle her and get her used to me but it just seemed to stress her so much that i decided it would be better for her if she just had a nice, quiet life with as little handling as possible. :)

Well she's a beauty! I've got one just like that.... Not even worth the stress on them, I'm with ya... Especially when there are others that practically BEG to come out! :oops:

yeah, right above her i have norah and matilda rubbing their faces off every time i come near the room, so it's not like i'm missing out on any cuddle time. :P

i guessed 8, cos its a nice number.... but whats a morph... no seruisly im a idoit... il wikipeida it :)
