AAGHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Tonights excitement.

So my neighbors knock on the door and say, "This MUST be yours! :D We know you love animals... it was in your yard" etc.. I look down and say "Haaa NOPE! Looks like you have a new kitty!"... Then I look closer at her.... :eek: :mad: :eek:
While they were explaining that they don't want a cat, I'm watching it crawl... literally. I point out the fact that it's COVERED in fleas and my neighbor (who is really nice) :oops: almost drops it in shock.... So, yea.... 1 1/2 hrs at the sink.... She's now purring like a train and getting a belly full. Have her separated from my other kitties till I get her vaccinated and wormed..... Snapped these in mid bath... can't believe she's not completely anemic...... :(

Man! That poor kitten. I'm sure she is feeling a lot better now. Frontline plus is a lifesaver for flea ridden cats. I know when I caught my kitten last summer, she looked almost like that, but not that extreme with fleas.

Awwwww.....poor little baby.....can't wait to see what she looks liek dry!

Holy cow! That's an awesome picture to show just how bad fleas can get in untreated animals.

She looks like she'll be amazing with some groceries in her though...I can't wait to see the "After" pics!

I'm just glad they brought her over. She has some bruising on her tummy and back leg, so I'm pretty sure she is a dump. :(

I'm sure she feels a world better now that she's clean and bug free, and once her little worm problem is gone, she'll be... well... a wild, rambuctios, curtain and pant leg climbing... KITTEN!!!! :D

Ohmygosh!!! How could anyone dump such a gorgeous little kitty? (For that matter...how could anyond dump a homely kitty either?? :mad: ) Those first pictures literally made my skin crawl....both in reaction to gross number of bugs, and with emotional distress at what the poor little kitty must have been through!


I'm having to bite my tongue and sit on my fingers to keep from typing, "If you're looking for a home for her......." arrrggghhhhhhh!! She's SO sweet and adorable!!

I'm glad she found YOU, Laura! Even though I know you're fairly well maxed out on critters, I have a feeling those big green eyes are saying, "What's one more wee little tummy to rub???" :please:

And I think Annie is a perfect name!! :D If I could take her, that's what I'd call her!
