He was sent to us by Mr. Pete Kahl (thanks Pete, and thanks Allison!!!!), and will hopefully make some beautiful babies for us this next season!

He's a hottie!!! I used to lean more towards the high-white, but have been looking at both and he's pulling pretty strong for those low white guys ^_^

Quick question...I've only been to one expo, and it was pretty small, but the two pieds we saw there were kinda yellowish. Well, instead of the white being as white as all these pictures look, they seemed kinda off whitish or something. Do they all look like that or was that just not a very good line?

Shannon, I don't know that I've seen a pied with yellowish white?!? Maybe they were dirty??? What little white this one has is pure, PURE white!

I love all pieds, but I must admit that I am a low white kinda girl myself and he is HOT, nice addition there!

Congrats Steve. I love the low whites as well, and only hope that when more Double Homozygous animals start showing up with the pied trait, that they will be low white. Imagine a low white Hypo Pied, or Axanthic Pied. Congrats, and I hope he gives you plenty of offsprig next year.

I missed seeing him today while making sure everyone had full water bowls for the weekend. All I got was his empty tub to clean out. :( I wondered though out the day if he arrived safe and sound to ya. Yup he was my favorite low-white pied there. I love how bright the orange is by his white and I LOVE the funky pied pattern all over him. So glad that he went to a member on here! Hopefully I'll be able to see the little dude grow up.... more so then I've already seen of him grow. :)


What are you going to name him since "010" isn't all that fitting.

Thanks! And I assure you that he has a full water bowl! :D Like others who have posted, I've always been partial to higher white pieds, whereas my son (who bought him!!!) likes the lower white. Not that I didn't like low whites! But this guy is just absolutely gorgeous!!!

Adam isn't much on naming the snakes, but I usually try to come up with something fitting. All of our possible het females have names starting with "P" (for pied). I'm really leaning towards calling him Pete. :)

The girls are Pickles, Punkin, Peaches, Pebbles, Pooky, Pepper, and Morticia. Of course, Morticia doesn't quite fit in with the naming scheme. I got her and our het pied male before the possible hets, and named them Gomez and Morticia. Now poor Gomez is pretty much out of the picture!

Maybe they were just dirty...I just remeber Kasi and I talking about how they weren't as 'flashy' as we thought they would be b/c they were kinda....dingy. But that little guy there is just HOT! :D Very pretty belly too ^_^
