some new and some updates (need some opinions)
well I took a bunch of my arachnids down to austin this weekend and traded them in... but I got a couple pretty interesting balls for them... :D

first up is an awesome male for the possible jungle projects... 158 grams and he has an amazing head pattern and a perfectly defined "spot-nose"... ;)

and then the real strange one that I was just thrilled to find... I don't know if he's just a reduced pattern or what (anyone have any ideas??). Obviously I'll just have to try to prove him out... 369 grams and it seems like every part of him is reduced (body, belly, head...)

Here are the differences I'm seeing... the blotches on his side are really small (if there at all) and then the sides of his head have much less black than most "normals"...

and then for the updates, the pastel has shed and is eating well...

and then the baby cinnamon girl. She had her first shed early last week and has already eaten twice... she's already up to 89 grams! :D

I like the two new ones, the spots either side of the snout are interesting.... I picked up a few like that myself.

The reduced one is simply awesom! :)

That cinnamon is looking great, I'm glad to hear she's doing so well! :D

We weren't formally introduced at the expo, but I was there with Miss Becky.

thanks, yeah sarah, I thought you might be there with her, but there were just so many people there... :D

Becky was actually saying the reduced might have some woma blood or something... She came to see him yesterday, and I promise, he looks better in person than what I can get in the pictures... :)

I'm REALLY loving jungles so I'm just getting anything I can that has some nice jungle-ness to it. And so that normal with the spots on the nose and the head pattern instantly had my attention...

Well whatever that boy is, he sure is gorgeous! Just a major WOW in person. He's so clean and light.

And Sarah, if Blake says it's alright, I'll just bring you down here and we can just go see everything in person :) He has an awesome collection!

I am also deeply in love with jungles, so I can't wait to see how your projects pan out :D

I'm so jealous. I'm trying to offload some T's right now (cutting back for grad school and work), I wouldn't mind trading them for a select snake or two...

thanks mike, I'm just glad there weren't any problems with that cinny... :)

And I've seen a few now with the spots on the nose like that, is it anything? Or just a cool varient? The group mine came from had several with spots on their noses, but he had the most defined head pattern. There wasn't anything about what morph he was a sibling to, but all the baby normals that were there (not the reduced one though) came from high-end morphs... so there's no telling what this thing is (about half of them are hets, but there's no documention or knowledge of what recessive trait its for)... Anyways, good luck with yours and let us know if you ever get anything out of it! I know I would love to know! :D

And becky, of course we can work out some time for you and sarah to come see everyone...

sorry, wouldn't let me edit any longer and add these in...

Here's a full body shot of that new one (I just can't wait to see how that head pattern turns out...), and then another female I have that is really high yellow with a head pattern, and then another female that has the CRAZIEST body, but no head pattern... :(

They are a little different, I figured on breeding one of the males I have to a female that has the same charaterisics and see what happens.

On another note, I do have a 2000 gram female het albino that also has the same spots either side of the snout.... makes you wonder. Questions to be answered!

You seem to have a few projects that are very comparable to mine... I might shoot you a PM with two females of mine for you to check out if you're interested in seeing that. :)

    I certainly would rapture... :D

Well let us know what happens with your "spot-nose" balls... Both of my new ones ate today, which is great, but it will still be a while before he's ready for any of my girls, hopefully next year... ;)
