Cleveland Cavs
i just want to be the first to congratulate the cleveland cavilers on a wonderful series and a close out of the detriot pistons to win the eastern conference championship.
GO CAVS!!!!!!

Re: Cleveland Cavs
Woot! Go Cavs!!! I don't watch basketball, but I tuned in to this game.
-
Re: Cleveland Cavs
Gibson was sick tonight. Even for people who don't like basketball if you missed game 5 when LeBron scored 48 you gotta watch it if you get a chance to see it again somewhere it was amazing. I seriously think they will battle it out with the Spurs this is a great finals for the NBA.

Re: Cleveland Cavs
Even though I'm a huge pistons fan, I think the cavs played great *even though I hate lebron James* But I think the spurs will rip the cavs apart, just my opinion.
-
Re: Cleveland Cavs
this is a BIG day in cleveland sports....:D , as for the spurs, we beat them on the road. the pistons were supose to rip us apart. you might not like LJ, but you have to like what he's doing for cleveland and the sports sence, he put us back on the map..this will be the first of many appearences in the finals....as long as we can afford to keep him..
-
Re: Cleveland Cavs
We goin to the ship!!! what what? we goin to the ship!!!! what what?
Hell yeah...big congrats cavs...time to sweep the spurs!

James is an amazing player no doubt, but I think his cockyness, and trying to take the game into is own hands is something he's gonna have to grow out of. Is he the next MJ? maybe, but It's just an attitude thing with him I dont like. I will tell ya good luck though, but the way the spurs have been playing *if they can continue to play the same* I dont think any NBA team can beat them, excpesially when you have a bench player going over 20 points a game.

Re: Cleveland Cavs
the spurs would have lost to the suns if david stern wasn't such a (fill in own words here) as suspended stoudemire and diaw after horry's cheap shot...
i think the cavs and the spurs we'll be a good series like the conference finals was.
it's hard being a cavs fan and a buckeyes fan living in michigan...
-
Re: Cleveland Cavs
I like the cavs. Spurs will still win. :D hehe - I'm looking forward to it. Either way its going to be some killer b-ball I bet.
And...there's no excuse for the Suns. I love the Suns and am a huge Steve Nash fan but they are just missing something still... It was obvious it was over when Stoudemire started whining on TV. Even his own coach was embarrased as can be.

Re: Cleveland Cavs
I will agree with you 100% about the cockyness, his i want to be the most popular player in the world attitude. but he has to take the game into his own hands thats what all great leaders do, even mj did..

Re: Cleveland Cavs
Was it just me or did the CAVS play HORRIBLE.... seemed like the spurs walked all over them this series. Cavs deff. had tons more drive against the pistons, then they go out and play terrible vs the spurs, and Lebron did nothing.
-
Re: Cleveland Cavs
what game were you watching...yes they lost, but HORRIBLE....no, none of there shots were fallin..they cut a 29 point gap in the fouth to a 8 point gap, granted they shouldnt of been down that much but thier a young team.. They gave everything they had but the spurs were a better team.. so i would say its just you..sorry.. but i live and die cleveland sports.. just watch, after being to the final Dan Gilbert WILL make a big move to get James the players he needs to shoot the threes.. Marshell, and Amon ones(no D no J) should not of been the go to three point guys, they couldnt get nothing to fall...Yes the cavs lost but they didnt play HORRIBLE.. just my:2cent:

Re: Cleveland Cavs
The the whole series was played pretty bad if you ask me, Lebron couldnt produce as much as he should have, and also the other's where lacking. IM gonna be honest watching them come back and beat the pistons when they where down 2-0 was impressive, and they played there asses off. I just dont think they had enough drive to beat the Spurs this series, dont get me wrong spurs are a great team, and I knew they would win. But I was atleast hoping for a game 6. I understand your a die hard cleveland fan just as I am a Detroit fan *cough go tigers :D * cough* and the reason im gonna say the cavs didnt play so good is because the spurs didnt play all that hot either * this last game atleast* and yes the cav's did have a huge comeback after the third, but it's like they kinda wherent in it the first 3.

Re: Cleveland Cavs
Also when was the 29 point gap, this last game? I thought it was a 12 point gap going into the 4th?
-
Re: Cleveland Cavs
BTW Go SPURS!
The spurs played well. they kept lebron covered at all times in the first few games, and not so much this game.
The cavs had many chances to hit 3s, but they couldn't exicute. i think the spurs can play better. The spurs are a great team, and they are hard to beat!

game 3

Re: Cleveland Cavs
now i think thet had the drive to win, but lack the ability to win. Lebron didnt play all that well, and boobie turned from mr automatic to brick layer, but he a rookie in a finals starting line up so it got to him.. /they need another big name shooter then we'll be set..As for detroit....GO TRIBE....:D
