Stanley Cup playoffs

Any hockey fans here? Who are you rooting for.....

the ducks cause they beat detroit...

I want the Ducks to win as well because it is great keeping the cup out of Canada!

I don't really care who wins because the ducks beat detroit...

I really like both teams. The Ducks are the grittiest team to even go to the championship since the Broadstreet Bully days of the Philly Flyers. They also have a technically sound, big goalie in J.S. and speedy skilled forwards like Selanne, McDonald, and Getzlaf.

The Senators are filled with finesse and speedy forwards with a very solid and balanced blueline . But while Emery has proven himself a solid goalie, unfortunately he doesn't seem to be able to bear the weight of the team and win them a game just by himself. Usually to win the cup your goalie has to at least deliver one or two wins almost exclusively by himself.

Quick story about Temmu Selanne. When I was in 6 grade we had to write a letter to someone famous requesting an autograph from him. I choose Temmu and my mother mailed the letter after I got the assignment back from my teacher.

I didn't hear anything back for the longest time. However, 6 years latter towards the end of my senior year in high school I received a letter from him and/or his people. The letter really seemed to be written by the Finnish Flash as it was written in somewhat broken English. In the letter he apologized for how long it took for him to answer all his fan mail. And he included an autographed Winnipeg Jets Card. I still have it!

Lets go Rangers! Oh wait...Damn...I hope the Ducks take it. Emilio Estevez deserves a Stanley Cup.

This was somewhat implied in my first post...but I can find reasons why i want both teams to win...Ottawa since they beat the Pens and the Ducks because I really like Selanne. However, I don't like Pronger that much because of how he screwed over Edmonton.

One other reason for me to hope the Ducks win....I picked them to win the cup in my hockey poll. Right now I'm in 4th place and I'll end up in 2nd place if they win......(Right now my brother is in 2nd....it important for me to beat him!):)

I was born and raised in anaheim, Im a season ticket holder for the ducks so you have to know who i wasnt to win :)

The Sens haven't even showed what they can do.

The Cup will come back to Canada, and not in the hands of the Habs.
and even if it the Ducks win, 19 of their 28 players are Canadian anyway.
You might as well say either way the cup is in Canada. So I have no complaints in that department.

A'ight, game is about to start, still undecided if I'll camp out on the couch with some beer, or head downtown ( Oh yeah, I live in Ottawa:D )

I don't watch anymore. Once my Sabres got knocked out due to unfair penalties and favoritism for Ottawa, I lost interest. :(

Well congradultaions to the ducks it's over they won. Happy for selane He deserve's it good to see him get it back in the pond. Now what I still don't understand is why pronger is still playing in the nhl two straight suspenion's for attempting to injure the oponsing teams players. This is not the first you can go back to his run at stevie a few years back to see it's a reacurring problem with pronger if this is the new nhl isn't it time for them to get the goons out of hockey ohh wait if your a goon that can score and play defense it's okay it's not your fault.The nhl disciplinary commision should resing over this frarce. The nhlpa needs to pull Prongers membership. Them and leagaue should ban him for life.
