Not true if you notice his eyes they look cloudy still. It looks like he is rubbing his nose on something say like a screen lid.If the enclosure does not have a screen lid or such check it and find what he is rubbing his nose on.It could turn into a open wound or such.

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
Not entierly True man. I've noticed that happen to some of my AfRocks and Ball Pythons here and there. They're all in AP cages, or racks, so not much to rub on.

Ok i just never seen any of them get that way without rubbing on something ruff or such.I guess if they rub it hard enough it happens without something causing it :P .

Sometimes my female will start rubbing her nose while she's in blue, usually the day before she clears up, then she sheds that night/next day. It doesn't happen all of the time though. Maybe he's just impatient and wants to get that skin off now :8:

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
I'm curious as to what exactly causes it, but it isn't rubbing from what I know.

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
What is your humidity? When mine go into shed, I bump it up to a firm 80% minimum and keep it there.. have not had a broken nor stuck shed on mine in months.

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
i have a screen lid but he seems to not wanna move like hes uncomfortable
im keepin the humidity as high as i can but it keeps going back down

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
lol. yeah, one time i saw floyd pressing his nose into the floor over and over and started freaking out cuz i thought he had some kind of neurological problem or something. then i looked closer and saw a little bunched up skin on his nose like that! lol

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
i felt like crying when i saw it i was like OH NOES and i picked him up and cuddled him
he was cranky
-
Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
well i would be to if some one picked me up while i was pretty much blind. i would leave him alone while he's in blue and till he sheds, they can be very stressed cause they can't see so well and might give you a defensive strike. but thats just what i would do.
and if you want a good shed i would keep the humidity up to 80% and do everything ya could to make it stay up there, either misting alot, bigger waterbowl, humidifier, whatever.

he is cranky because he is in shed.
I typically do not handle my snakes while they are in shed.
they are very defensive and may strike.
since they are pretty much blind while in shed handling can cause a lot of unnecessary stress.

Re: HELP Wtf?!?!
Just to mention, if you think something is wrong with your snake, picking it up to cuddle it will not make the snake feel better. If something IS wrong you'll just stress it out.
He's probaly just getting ready to shed like everyone else has already said. Good eye for spotting a potential issue early!

I do beleive we found your cause of his face problem ;) .Well from how it looks it more then likely hurts and moving around could hurt more.
