Sweet Sixteen *not for the squeamish*
Tomorrow is my baby girl's 16th birthday, so this weekend has been all about having fun with her!

Last night, we took her to a live action Rocky Horror Picture Show. The troop was very good, and we all had an awesome time. I have been waiting for this picture my entire life:
Courtney, me, and her man Jacob

And today, she finally got to do something she has been begging for years to do:

The finished product...could this face be any happier??

Tomorrow we will be going to a friends house for a cookout and she'll get cake and balloons and roses and money, so it should be just about perfect I guess ;)

    I will!
She is so totally thrilled with her new sparkly, and I still can't believe she never even flinched. That's one tough girl!

Oooh, look at the artwork behind and above Jacob's head, too. That would look so perfect in my den, right? :D

Haha, yeah, she has been asking for this piercing since she was 6, so she is so completely happy about this. I think she'll love it just as much as you do!
I had her when I was just 20, so I was a very young first time mom. We've pretty much grown up together.

Awww, thanks! I actually have been asked if we are sisters, I told her to start saying yes to that question

I'm not sure she really sees me as being a cool mom, I still make her do chores and homework and babysit her little brother :devilish:

It does look great, but I think it's going to take a few days for me to get used to, haha. 16 years and 1 hr ago, I became a mom for the very first time :happycry:
