Weeny; I can't believe such heartless people would leave a poor kitty like that.. but at least now he has a great home! nice photo.
DrDel: we got this TV through a friend; he was moving to Hawaii and gave us this TV, as well as our couch and chair, as a payment for a debt! Funny thing is, he moved back to Buffalo and had no furniture! But it was all fair..
Christie; I loooove your kitty..! black cats are my favorite, and i will never let myself be without one.
And James; Nermal has such a doll; I love the black pads on his feet!

Nermal is a girl, we found her at a gas station as a kitten one night with very busy streets on all sides.
We have a few cats, but she is mine :P

Are U guys having problems b/c of the catfood recall? I've been thinking back that may have been Stripe's kidney failure root cause, but can't be sure. :(

Cleo is on a special diet now from the vet due to kidney failure and diabetes, but before she was diagnosed we were feeding her Science Diet Senior stuff, the dry food. Vet approved, and never made the recall list thank goodness! Cleo really liked it too and did really well on it. It's not the cause of her current issues, in fact she's been on it for years and I think not ever getting sick before the age of 18 speaks well of it. :thumbsup: Hope that helps!

Thanks, Sheree! Stripe was 14 or 15 when we had to have her PTS. :( I've been reading that it could have been the food that started the failure.

She was a rescue. I have had her for 4 years.
she has a problem eating certain foods so I have to feed my cats Purina Cat Chow. She will get sick if she eats too fast...too much...or the wrong food. :rolleyes:

Awe; more cutey-patootey kitties :) Phanpy; your cat looks just like my cat, Charcoal, that I grew up with. And the black sibling you're adoption; I just love black cats! He has such a cute expression.
What an awesome siamese, Meme; I definately want one for my next cat. I love the appleheads; like Sweety, I could do without the anorexic ones.. and Peaches is a cutie too :+)

Here is Salem, She actually now lives with my mom. She had to take her when I moved out and my mom was attached to her.
She has 6 toes on both her front paws and was born on Halloween, she is also going to be 13 this year.

I'm so sorry... :( That's always so hard... I'm not looking forward to getting to that point, but for now Cleo doesn't know how sick she is. It's all about quality of life at this point... when it comes down to it, that's the kindest thing to do though it's never easy... The whole food recall thing was so scary and awful, here's hoping that never happens again..

It is so funny how they sneak into places when you turn away for a split second. Inky always steals a person's spot on the couch if they dare to go get up to grab popcorn or a drink. :)
What a pretty kitty! I wish that Ink would wear a collar, but I have gotten three-four different ones (even one with an expensive brass-engraved nameplate) and he takes them off and hides them somewhere in the house. None of them have surfaced, and this is not a big house. But I only felt safe using the "breakaway" ones, and he hates wearing them. I think it was because he was found as a stray with a chokingly tight collar; to this day, you can see the seperation (minorly) of fur where his collar line is :(

This is Tuppence. A red tabby persian. He is a strange cat. Only likes men, but lives with 2 women. We got him from animal control and by the time we figure out he only liked men we didn't want to return him. Kelly was afraid he wouldn't get another chance at a home. It was several months before he would even call a truce. Even longer before he would lie on my lap. Now he lives for me to come home. His favorite thing is to immerse himself in my sweaty shoes [I know he is one sick kitty].
But let a man come by, ANY man and he is all over them. To this day he still just tolerates Kelly and he was supposed to be hers. We have had him for 6 yrs. now. He's 9 yrs old.

Yeah, Nebula loves guys. She's a very lovey dovey cat, which seems a little odd, considering she was a stray. She loves me, but any guy that comes in and she's all over em.
The first day I brought her home a guy friend was coming over to watch a movie. We figured that she'd go hide and ignore us, being the first day in her new environment. Nope, she curled up in HIS lap during the movie and went to sleep. :zerb:
