Oh LORD!!! (random topic)

just wanted to inform you all...that watching late night/early morning TV is really trippy when you are delirious from lack of sleep.



I was flipping through channels and stopped on an old childhood favorite "Rugrats"

But sadly, that show came to an end and i was baraged with an acid-trippish collage of random songs, claymation characters and just overall weirdness of a horrible, horrible childrens show called "Lazytown."

I am going to try to sleep soon, but that bizarre pink haired girl is going to give me nightmares.

LMAO There are a whole bunch of kids shows, Lazytown being one of them, that give me the creeps!

:eek: my girlfriends puppy had a toy that was the orange one and it was terrifying! before he destroyed it, it had this creepy creepy voice and sometimes it was say BOOOOOHHHHBAHHHHHHHHH but other times it just made this terrible terrible noise, I have NO idea how kids aren't scared out of their minds by those things.
but I'm kind of glad I was a really hyperactive child and couldn't sit still long enough to watch tv, because now that I look back, I don't understand how kids develop normally and don't have crazy nightmares from all these creepy shows.

There's one.. It's a Big Big World... freaked me out SO much when I accidentally saw a little part of it one time.

i can deal with most little kid shows (even the doodlebops) but if i really make u mad and u really wanna get even, tie me to a chair in front of the wiggles!!!

I hate the show with the people's hands as the characters.. it really unsettles me. They have eyeballs attached to their hands and basically make talking motions with their thumb and index finger.. gross.
Something that I could do in my own home, nonetheless.. they will toss anything together to make a buck :(

That would be Oobi. My kids make me watch all sorts of painful shows. :oops:

There's a new one with a rapping educational bear. (think Barney but rapping) I just can't seem to tolerate that one. Of course, my son has fallen in love with Pokemon and is now trying to get me to learn all of the individual pokemons! No wonder my IQ is dropping daily. :rolleyes:

I was way into pokemon when it first came out, even though I was really too old to be watching it, but yeah, if you need help figuring them all out, let me know ;) I can teach you! But only the first 150, and some of the ones after that but before 250, after 250, im as lost as you!

I've still got to figure out the game as well. He wants to play, but I we haven't figured out the REAL rules... yet. How they evolve, energy, trainers... ACK! I ordered a book for him, and I'm sure I'll be spending plenty of time hearing ALL about them. Even my daughter keeps tell me about this pokemon or that and how many points they're worth. :rolleyes: Ahhh the joys of motherhood.
