okay... let's play pretend!!!
you have a huge space... where you can have any kinda herp you want. you have the space, the 'stuff' to care for it... everything is taken care of, even the food. *cost is no problem*
what would you get?
*i don't know what i'd get so i'll answer this once i figure it out*

A lavendar albino burm *sluuuuuuurp/drool* Gorgeous animals! Or a lav albino retic.. Or....some moonglow boas. Those are just drop-dead beautiful!
A BEL ball...Hmmmmm Aleesha, how many can we name???? My wish list could go on for a while yet. :D

an axanthic green anaconda male. I honestly think they are among the most beautiful snakes in existence, the only thing holding me back is size as I do not have the necessary equipment and time to care for such a beast. Hopefully what I've read is true that with proper maintenance feeding he won't get TOO much over 10 ft (although I'll prepare for bigger just in case), and I'll have one in my possession in just a few short years.

More carpets! I love the one I have. Very flashy, great display animal. I really wouldn't want anything larger than what I could handle alone. I love my balls, but I find Carpet more attractive in a snakey way. I like the long, more slender body and the evil looking eye he gives me. :D

Simple. Having an anaconda at some point has always been on my list, then I've done more research and found that males are half the size I was expecting etc etc etc.
doesn't hurt that today when I went by my local herp shop I got to hold a 10ft annie male. amazing experience.

Coooooool! Looking @ Ben? Rennick's annies, I looooove the green and the green albino???? < I'm still learning the annie morphs :oops: :oops: > but I think I'd get another SD retic or a SD retic morph to replace Kaa b4 I'd get a 'conda. Besides, of the giants, an albino burm is first on my list. :D
I'd love to eventually get a b/w carpet and GTP, but they're so touchy, I need more experience first.

i've always thought green anacondas were the most gorgeous snake i've ever seen. only actually seen one in real life and i didn't wanna walk away! but after i clicked on that link gooseman posted, i think i have to agree with him and go with the Anerythristic green anaconda! absolutely beautiful!!!

There's also a male that looks alot like her, and he's just as gorgeous, they're supposed to be breeding this year :)
Also I love the way thy look when they're babies, that vibrent red. I want one that stays that color red!

ok, so the blue one is a morph then? (i know nothing about morphs other than bps) and they're born red? wow! that's crazy! hopefully someone will post some pix when their clutch hatches!

its called an ontogenic color change, emerald tree boas go through it as well, they can be born yellow, brown or red. The blue is considered a 'morph' but many times it is not genetic, or may be polygenic, no one is completely positive yet, but there are both genetic and nongenetic blue gtp's.(this does not take into account the hormonal blue gtp's; which are females that turn blue while they're gravid)

What a cool thread!
I would expand my BP collection; I'd get a few far-out things that no one can afford such as that Stunning Toffee Ball (if I could even buy that..) A BELeucy, stuff like that. And definately an orange ghost; they are awesome to me, even if there are higher-priced, rarer morphs out there. Definately a pair of medium-to-high-white Pieds.
My first purchase though would be the building of the best incubator money could buy.
As for other species; I would get one of those stunning black boas that Cue posted, and a snow boa that was a high-white adult. Wow, I could keep going on and on.. but I would realistically keep my collection at a size that I alone could care for without being overwhelmed.
And for non-herps; I would definately buy a Friesian stallion!

not much of a monitor fan but that one is pretty cool lookin. i like the black and white.

A nile monitor most likely. They are awsome looking, but from what I've heard, they are hard to take care of. Definatly scratched that one off my list a while back, due to the fact I don't think I would be able to care for it properly. But it would be an awsome animal to have.

Found this thread a little late. Okay... any size enclosure and any herps? I'll take a pair of Komodo Dragons, American Alligators, and Galapagos tortoises. :)
