My interesting new baby

This little one is my new baby ball, Vasquez, my first reptile too. I have had him for about a week now. He was a birthday present from my parents; they got him from petco and surprisingly he seems to be in good shape. Calmer and fatter then the other snakes in the reptile shops.

He caught my eye when he was the only ball python that didn't ball up in my hands, but rather slithered up it. Then I compared his pattern to the other snakes and I noticed he has no spots! Well actually just one but I have never seen one like him before, the other balls I saw were al very spotty.

I've gotten better thermometers, don't worry. My temps were shaky but they are fine now. And he pooped the first day I got him too, which I assume mean he is eating (I wil try to feed him soon)

cutie! I was looking at once just like him at the petco here in charlotte but ended up not getting him as by the time I went back he was gone :(
