Awww what a cute picture! I got to hold my friend's 1 week old baby son a couple of days ago. Lordy but the urge to have another baby is strong with a newborn cuddling sweetly in my arms. Of course I ran home and locked myself in the bathroom until the feeling went away LOL.

Oh and tailless cats fit better in baby clothes. :D

My kids are 5 and 7, and I miss that stage too. While they just lay in your arms quietly and just want you. I even go through periods that I want another baby. Then I come to my senses, and realize I will just have to spoil my neices and nephews more. :yes:

this is my Cait (the youngest) and she is 8 now. She was turning 1 the day after this pic was taken. :aww: I miss this stage! She stayed pretty bald till about 2 and then her hair got REAL long. Now she likes to keep it kinda short. :(

I'm with you girl. I wanna be a professional weaner! (say it out loud) And raise all the orphaned baby animals, and once they're eating on their own, I want them to go home and leave my house! (I've had a couple fosters since September and November :( )

And yeah I tell her daily "get away with it while you can" being bald..chunky (she was when she was nursing still) and in a bikini is only something you can pull off..and look good doing as a baby...9 months old was my favorite stage...all the way from newborn until she started really walking and moving around on her own...I loved slinging her on my back (in the baby sling) nursing her for hours on end (yeah I love it now..not then so much lol) and yeah just having her need me more then anyone in this life ever will...gosh those days go by to fast..I wish I would of taped every moment of every day :(
She is 2.5 and still bald...not that fantastic fully bald with peach fuzz but still very much a baldy...I did trim it upa bit she started to look like the crypt keeper with these long bits here and there...

And I love the dress yourself picture yahahahaah (thats why I made sure I have all my baby pictures hidden away...plus I went through a few years of not wanting to wear clothes and my family proudly brings those pictures out all the time...so now they are tucked away to never be seen again whahah)

It's odd..she was so bald I had 2 diffrent people ask me if she was sick ..as in cancer sick which was shocking...they were both spanish...and I dont think I have yet to see a bald spanish baby so maybe that was why they were worried...and then at the hospital when she was about 1.5 she nurse (a spanish guy) asked if she had any past surgery..when I said no he asked again and again...then said "so you guys shave her head then?" :rofl: I heart bald babies so post your bald lil ones folks!!!

Exactly!! Children born with a full head of hair freak me out to no end...she had no hair what so ever at birth...and still doesnt have enough to do anything with :( But I do blow dry it *sighs* I'm going through the motions is all....

OH my goodness. What a little cutie. My youngest is just about 3, I really miss the baby stage, ALOT. I wanted another baby, Shaun isn't totally opposed to it though. He wants to wait a little. But by the time it actually happens, my two will be in school and I am not so sure I will want to go back to changing diapers again. Who knows.

Thank you :) I think Shaun is already looking for a shotgun lol. He is Extremely protective over them. Especially Alex, being thats his little girl.


I miss all that stuff too. They do grow up so fast. It seems like it takes for ever, but then we are sitting here saying gosh I wish they were little babies again. But thats okay, there are always Grandchildren to look forward to. ...... a Loooonnnggg time in to future I hope.

Yeah it healed well...she is like me and wont leave her cuts alone so she kept picking at a couple stitches and took em out early...but it has healed good...of course it left a scar...but hey it didnt take the finger tip off so I'm good lol. The scar goes from the outside of her finger right by the nail (shockingly she didnt cut the nail) and curves all the way around her finger almost touching the other side of the nail...it's sort of lenght ways across her finger...hard to explain sorry lol. Thanks for asking btw! And if you ever want a trial run with a child look me up...as much as I love her I wouldnt mind a week with out a baby LOL.

Ummm I actually did have to tape the barett in my Beth's hair (or lack thereof) for this picture. My Bethie is the baby on the left, her cousin Hayley on the right. They are about 6 weeks apart in age and this was their first Easter. Grandma had bought these sweet matching sleepers with the hair decor and Hayley had tons of hair, our Beth had only peach fuzz LOL.

Thats awesome she gets along with her cousin well! I'm 3.5 weeks older then my cousin and I hate him :mad: All of our baby pics showed him chasing me with a hose while I ran around the yard naked crying...or being sticking a straw down his throat...me putting my fingers down his throat...or biting him...then there was the bleach in the sprite accident :oops:
Him and I have never gotten along lol. And yeah time goes by way to fast...I cant believe she will be 3 years old in October :( I keep saying she is turning 2...and everyone is all "wow she is big for 1 and really advanced!!" then it hits me LOL. Time goes by to fast :(

Oh but the smell of a freshly bathed newborn...all sweet and powdery fresh. That first smile that you are SURE is a smile even if granny said it was gas. The first time they say "mama"....well you just melt (even if 2 minutes later they call the fridge "mama" it still counts! LOL). Those first toddling steps and your heart in your mouth when they tumble on to their diapered bottom. The first moment they put that new life onto your belly or breast and you know in an instant you would give your life for this life without a blink of an eye.....

There's many things in my life I've lived to regret or wish I could go back and change, being a mother has never been one of them (and considering I have 3 teens and a 6 year old that's saying something LOL).
