Full props, credit and kudos to go Nate!! (aka Nathanledet) He made it and gave me the file to upload.

The only reason I haven't mentioned it yet is because it doesn't show up for everyone and it's entirely befuddling as to why or why not. I was hoping we could figure that out, but it doesn't look like we can.

SO...for those of you who can see it...give a nod and a pat on the back to Nate! The rest of us can go pout in a corner and eat an extra cookie or something. :P

All my favorites have their own little icon that make it quick to spot and click on...i thought bp.net was missing a little something something and thought i'd help out by making something simple and recognizable.

That is correct, too! Raj (aka Iceman25) designed the logo. We've got some greatly talented folks around here and I love 'em!!!

I'm on Vista with IE7....cleared cookies and other temp files...rebooted...deleted and re-bookmarked the site....all more than once. I have favicons showing up for other websites...but not this one. :( I'm stumped.

It's weird, Judy has tried EVERYTHING...she uses IE so that's over my head because i use FireFox. She's cleared cookies and restarted the browser and the computer and it's still not showing up...works fine for me, and apparently a few others out there. Some will see it, some won't.......gotta love technology :D

I'm on vista too... I still have no idea what you guys are talking about... :oops: Gonna restart and clear stuff and look for something new!?!?! :P

Just tried it in a vista virtual pc and it showed up first time. :clueless:
So it isnt a vista/ie7 combo thingy at least. Did you log out before doing the cleaning?

No...I didn't log out before cleaning out the temp files, but I closed the browser afterwards, and rebooted..then when I came back online, I had to log in even though it's usually automatic. So it forced me out anyhow.

Ok, change that setting to every time and try again.

i tried opening a window in firefox... nothing. i use safari (and a mac) and don't see anything new :rainon:

Sorry Aleesha, I've never done Mac support, so I'm not too familiar with the issues....I have read that sometimes you have to clear the cache several times to get them to work, though, so maybe try that?

Firefox, by default, searches for a favicon.ico file in the root directory of the site, while other browsers (ie, safari, etc) don't necessecarially do the same. If you want to make everyone see it, you need to modify the base page template, or at least the main index page, to include these lines in the head section area:
